2 ABOUT PRESTAVAULT
Lost sleep about your shop getting malware or other un-authorized
file changes?
PrestaValut is designed to alert you of file modifications so you can
react fast to avoid website being flagged by search engines as
malicious.
Monitor and protect your shop file integrity and sleep a little better.
2.1 BENEFITS:
With built in alerts, so shop management can react quickly to unauthorized file
changes.
Resolves management questions:
How will I know if my shop files have been modified to avoid shop domain being
tagged as malicious by Google, other major search engines and anti-virus
firewalls?
What did that person with FTP access actually change?
How do I know when a module has been installed or changed by back office
employees?

2.4 EXCLUDE FOLDERS | FILES YOU DO NOT WANT MONITORED BY PRESTAVAULT.


Identify folders and that are not part of your PrestaShop installation. These may be
other websites in your hosting account, a WordPress blog for example.

2.5 BUILD REPOSITORY

This can take several minutes, please be patient.

Your shop files are now protected!

5 TECHNICAL FAQ:
5.1 PRESTAVAULT DB TABLE SIZE
PrestaVault compresses the data portion of all files saved in the vault to save space.
We use compression level 9, the highest possible.
Estimated PrestaVault db table size is 50% of the file system monitored.

5.2 HOW PRESTAVAULT VIEWS YOUR SHOP FILES


PrestaVault views your files is the same way as seen by your FTP program. Here is an
example PrestaShop file structure.

5.3 TROUBLE SHOOTING:


Build Repository: Does not complete.
Browser back button and uninstall PrestaVault This will remove the db table created.
Re-install PrestaVault.
