SQUASH SMILEY FRIES

Ingredients:
kg. squash, sliced and boiled (kept in fridge for 5-6 hours)
cup bread crumbs (dry)
malunggay leaves, dried
4 tbsp. corn flour
1 tsp. salt
Oil
Pepper
Cooking Instructions:
1. Peel and grate the boiled squash.
2. Mix bread crumbs, corn flour, salt, cheese, dried malunggay leaves in a bowl.

4. Using a plastic sheet greased with oil, place the squash dough and roll using
the rolling pin.
5. Cut with a round cutter.
6. Make eyes with the help of a straw and smile with a spoon.
7. Keep them in the fridge for 10 minutes.
8. Fry smileys in hot oil on high flame till crisp and golden brown.
9. Remove from fire, put the cooked fries on a kitchen paper towel to absorb the
oil.
10.Serve hot.

ORIENTAL LOMI IN HORSERADISH


NOODLES
Ingredients:

2 kg. homemade malunggay noodles

cup shred chicken breast


cup cabbage, end trimmed and sliced
1 tbsp. minced garlic

2 tbsp. oil
1 medium onion, peeled and chopped
2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1 tbsp. fish sauce
1 medium sized carrots peeled and cut into strips
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tbsp. corn starch
2 eggs
Salt and pepper to taste
chicken broth
Garnish:
boiled Quail eggs
spring onions
garlic
fried tofu
Cooking Instructions:
1. Heat a cooking pot then pour-in cooking oil.
2. When the oil is hot enough, saut the garlic and onions.
3. Put in shredded-boneless chicken breast and cook until the color turns
medium brown.
4. Add fish sauce and stir.
5. Pour in the chicken broth and let it boil.
6. Add in the ground black pepper and malunggay noodles. Then cook
until sauce thickens.
7. Add the corn flour diluted in water, carrots and cabbage, and stir well.
Cook until the sauce thickens.
8. Turn off the heat then pour in the beaten eggs. Stir constantly until the
egg is well mixed.
9. Transfer to a serving bowl and top with boiled quail eggs and fried tofu.
10.
Garnish with chopped spring onions and garlic.
