Study of power system and distribution networks in Visakhapatnam steel plant (RINL)
Main project:
220/132kv substation design and automation with integration of captive power plant.
The main aim of this project is to study,design and integrate captive power plant with
application of advanced automation tools on substation operation and control with advanced auto bus
coupler systems and fast acting automated switchgears.
EXPERIENCE:
1.Technical trainer and site engineer for VISAKHAPATNAM PORT TRUST under TECHNOSOFT
ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY from may 2012 to aug 2013
Job Responsibilities:
Technical training and skill development programmes in Electrical CAD, PLC, MATLAB
Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all electrical equipments,metering units
and installations including substation HT panels,Transformers,DG set,Battery Chargers,
Jockey pump sets,Berth lighting,Fire fighting systems
Continous monitoring of station meters and data aquisition
Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown and resolve the
issue as quickly as possible
