INTRODUCTION:
Shield Square is a new age SaaS (Software as a service) product in the market
which safeguards websites from data scraping and content theft. This study
involves in exploring all possible avenues in the digital medium in order to
promote and position the product.
NEED FOR THE STUDY:
With a new age Anti Scraping tool as the product, the company wishes to make a
considerable impact in the SaaS Industry. Besides designing Marketing and
Promotion strategies, spreading awareness among the targets groups was also on
the priority list in order to increase the customer database and increase the footing
in the industry.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM:
Designing a good Marketing Strategy for the company & Product using Digital
Medium.
OBJECTIVES:
Spreading awareness about the product as the technology is new to the
Indian Market.
Creating a Customer Database for the company to gain the initial ground in
the competing Market.
To implement Lead Generation for Outbound Sales.
Positioning the product in the markets using SEO/SEM,
Content Writing |
Blogs.
Sampling:
The sampling method to be used by me is convenience sampling it is a category of
non probability sampling since the respondents were chosen by me.
Sources of data:
Primary data
The primary data is considered to be the fresh data that is collected to know about
the objectives of the study. Questionnaires method is used to collect the primary
data.
Secondary data
The secondary data for the study is collected from the journals, magazines and
from the internet
Tools for data collection
A structured closed ended questionnaires are to be prepared and administered to
the customers to know the awareness level.

Limitations:
The huge limitation is the lack of awareness. Majority of the players are not aware
of the existence of this kind of a product and they are also ignorant about the losses
they might incur due to the data theft and content scraping.
Conclusion:
With no competition in India, it is required to find right investors as soon as
possible to scale up rapidly and gain the footing in the market before imitators
sprout up from all the corners. Company is looking to open offices in new
geographies and trying to get prospective customers
