HR PROCESS FOR SELECTION OF GRADUATE ENGINEER MANAGEMENT TRAINEE

OUR REQUIREMENTS

Graduate Engineer Trainee - Bright and Talented candidates from Electrical, Mechanical,
Production and Industrial Engineering stream for Pan India

ELIGIBILITY FOR PARTICIPATION IN CAMPUS

Graduate Engineer Trainee - Minimum 60% or equivalent CGPA (as per the conversion ratio) in
all cleared semesters in Graduation.
Final Selection is subject to clearance of all semesters. In case of any back in any subject, offer to
the candidate will be withdrawn by the company.

INTERNAL GROWTH PATH

Graduate Engineer Trainee On successful completion of 1 year Induction, Graduate Engineer


Trainee will be absorbed as Executive in Grade C 3.

SHORTLISTING PROCESS

Graduate Engineer Trainee


o Interested and Eligible candidates will appear for an Online Test (Aptitude and
Technical) for 60 minutes.
o Shortlisted candidates will appear for a Group Discussion
o Further shortlisted candidates will appear for Personal Interview.
o Final Offer will be rolled out to the selected candidates, on the spot.

INDUCTION TRAINING TO THE SELECTED CANDIDATES


Graduate Engineer Trainee Induction (2 weeks)

Introduction to the Group: History, Businesses, Culture, etc.


Introduction to Orient Electric
o Product Lines, Leadership, Business Strategies and Plans, Organization Structure and
Challenges
Meeting the Leadership Team
Presentations by Business and Function Heads
o Products, Departmental Structure, Key Processes & Systems
Soft Skills Training

Orientation (3 Months)

Rotation of the Trainees to all SBUs and Functions, to ensure in-depth understanding of their
functioning, structure, systems, processes and policies
Trainees to maintain a Daily Diary to record their learnings and observations.

On the Job Training (8 Months)

Assignment to a particular SBU / Function as per the fitment and interest.


Learning for initial 5 to 6 months and then driving functional projects.
Absorption, based on suitability and role availability
