Internet Safety
Dani Kuper
Here are some rules you should keep in mind while surfing the web:
1.You should NEVER give out personal information to anyone you meet online.
2.NEVER plan to meet up with someone you do not know.
3.Don’t fill out any “fun” questionnaires that are forwarded to you from your
friends. Forwards get passed around to everyone.
4.Sometimes you might befriend someone who you don’t really know. You should-
n’t do this because for all you know that could be a 50 year old guy who likes to
mess with kids.
5.You shouldn’t answer any emails or IM’s from people you don’t know.
6.There’s no such thing as “private” on the internet.
7.When posing pictures of yourself. If they aren’t something you would want your
mother, future boss, teacher, or potential college advisor to see.
8.NEVER share your password with anyone not even your closest friends.
9.Always ask permission before you download content from the internet.
If you are to follow these rules you should stay safe like Evan and Shawn!
