Arming the Alarm


The alarm may be "Armed" by any of 3 methods:
1) Remote Control Arming: Press & Release the Arm/Lock button

Upon Arming with the Controller:


The controller will chirp once (3-5 chirps if a zone is bypassed)
The ARM icon will appear on the LCD screen.
The Lock icon appears, confirming that doors have locked.

2) SILENT Remote Control Arming: Press & Release the Arm/Lock


button Twice within 1/2 a second

Upon Arming: The siren will chirp one time. (3-5 times if there is open zone)
The parking lights will flash once.
The doors will lock. (If an optional interface is connected)
The starter interrupt will engage.
The LED Status Indicator will begin to flash slowly.
OPEN ZONE BYPASS: If a zone is open, (for example a car door), when arming,
the alarm will still arm, but will bypass the open zone until the zone is secured.
The unit will confirm which zone is open with chirps.
- 3 Siren chirps is a door zone is open,
- 4 Siren chirps if the vehicles Hood zone is open,
- 5 siren chirps if the vehicles Trunk zone is open.

3) To Passively Arm: Turn ignition Off, Then close all doors.


Automatic Last Door Arming is a programmable feature which allows the alarm
to arm itself and, if desired, lock the doors upon arming.
If on, anytime the ignition is turned off, and then a door is opened and closed:
The Siren will chirp once to confirm arming countdown has begun.
The LED Status Indicator will begin to flash rapidly.
Thirty seconds later:
The siren will chirp & the lights will flash once.
The LED Status Indicator will begin to flash slowly.
The starter interrupt will engage.

- The alarm is now fully armed. The doors will lock at this time, if programmed to
do so, and if the vehicle is equipped.
- The alarm can not Last Door Arm if a protected zone is open. Should a vehicle
door be opened during the arming countdown, the countdown will stop and start
over again when the door is closed.
AUTO REARM (programmable): Allows the Alarm to Rearm itself, 90 seconds
after it is Disarmed and a vehicle door is not opened.

System Armed & Activated


Regardless of method used to Arm the alarm, once Armed, the alarm will monitor
all protected zones, and if an intrusion attempt is detected it will activate, or
trigger.
A trigger consists of the following:
The electronic siren, or optionally the vehicles horn, will start sounding.
The exterior parking lights will flash on and off repeatedly.
An activation has a 30/60 second duration unless the alarm is disarmed using the
controller or the Valet /Override switch. If all protected zones are secure at the end
of the trigger, the system will stop and rearm itself to detect further entry attempts.
If a protected zone is still open at the end of the trigger cycle, the alarm will
continue to re-trigger itself for up to six activated cycles before it resets itself and
ignores the violated zone.

Disarming the Alarm

The controller will chirp twice (4 chirps if the system was activated).
The DISARM icon will appear on the LCD screen.
The Unlocked icon appears, confirming that doors have unlocked.

2) SILENT Remote Control Disarming:


Press & Release the Disarm/Unlock button Twice within 1/2 a sec.

Upon Disarm: The siren will chirp twice. (4 chirps if alarm has activated & reset)
The parking lights will flash twice. (4X if alarm has activated)
The doors will unlock. (If an optional interface is connected)
The starter interrupt will disengage.
The LED Status Indicator begins flashing rapidly for Automatic
Rearming, until alarm Rearms or a vehicle door is opened.
2-STAGE DISARM: If Disarming the alarm while it is triggered (siren sounding), the
first press of any remote control button will only silence the siren/horn. A second
press of the Unlock button will Disarm the alarm.

3) Hands-Free Disarming: This programmable feature allows the


controller to automatically Disarm the unit whenever the controller
comes into close proximity to the vehicle.
To Operate Hands-Free disarm:
- This feature must be programmed On at the alarm unit.
- The Auto Transmit feature must be enabled at the controller.
The AUTO icon means that the Hands-Free feature is turned On
at the controller.
Enabling the Hands Free:
Press the Arm/Lock button & Button-5 at the same time.

- The Controller will emit one beep


- The AUTO icon will begin to flash, then stays on, once the alarm replys to
the controller.
- The ON icon will appear until the alarm replys to the controller.
Disabling the Hands Free:
Press the Disarm/Unlock button & Button-5 at the same time.
- The Controller will emit 3 beeps
- The AUTO icon will begin to flash, then turns
off, once the alarm replys to the controller.
- The OFF icon will appear until the alarm
replys to the controller.

Controller Activation Alert: If the alarm is disarmed, after it was triggered,


using the controller, the controller will display the zone that last triggered it.
The controller displays the Trigger Zone til the vehicles ignition is turned On.

Immobilizer Mode
If this mode is programmed On, the starter interrupt will remain engaged after the
alarm is Disarmed, until the ignition is turned On and you enter your Pin-Code
(1-12) using the Valet button. (Refer to programmable features)
To Start Vehicle: .
1. Disarm the alarm,
2. Turn On the vehicles ignition
3. Enter your Pin-Code by Pressing & Releasing the Valet Button a number of
time equal to your Pin-Code. (Pin-Code can be 1-12)
4. The siren will chirp twice to confirm that you may now start the vehicle.

With the alarm in the armed condition, enter the vehicle via the driver's
door (be aware that the alarm will trigger when the door is opened).
Using your key, turn the vehicles ignition to the "On" position.
Within 20 seconds, enter your PIN code (1-12) by Pressing the
Valet/Override Switch.

10 SECONDS

For Example: If your Pin-Code is 8, press valet switch 8 times. The triggered
alarm will disarm one second after code is entered.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If wrong code is entered, you must turn ignition Off,
then ON again, to enter the Pin-Code again.

Remote Panic Operation


Should it be needed in a threatening situation, or you feel the need to attract
attention, the alarm can be triggered using the remote control. Your alarm features Panic Mode, which allows you to activate Panic from the Arm/Lock
button.

To Activate Remote Panic: Press & Hold the Arm/Lock Button,


for 2 seconds, with the ignition Off.

Sensor By-pass
The shock sensor & Prewarn zone can be bypassed using the remote
control. This may be useful in stormy weather.
1) Arm the alarm by, Pressing & Releasing the Arm/Lock button.
2) Press & Release Button-3 twice within a 1/2 second.

The Auxiliary Channel


The Auxiliary Channel may be used to operate an optional function. Possibilities include remote trunk release, remote car starting, or an on-demand remote window roll-up interface. Please see your Omega dealer for details on
available options.

To Activate the Auxiliary Channel:


Press & Hold Button-3 for Two seconds.

NOTE: Depending on programing, activating the Auxiliary output will:


- Disarm the alarm upon activating the Auxiliary channel.
- Keep the alarm Armed, but bypass the trunk & sensor zones, until the
vehicles trunk is closed again.
- The Auxiliary Channel cannot be activated if the vehicle's ignition is "On".

The 3rd Channel Auxiliary Output


The programmable 3rd Channel may be used to operate an optional function,
such as a remote start unit or an on-demand remote window roll-up interface.
Please see your Omega dealer for details on available options.

To Activate the 3rd Channel:


Press & Hold Button-4 for Two seconds.

- The 3rd Channel can be programmed for Remote Start mode. This mode is
for use in conjuction with an optional Starter unit. It allows the vehicle to be
remote started without triggering the unit, while still protecting the perimeter.
- The 3rd Channel can also be programmed to Supply a (-) output when the unit
is Armed to operate a Window Roll-Up module.
- The Auxiliary Channel cannot be activated if the vehicle's ignition is "On".

Remote Anti-Carjack
The Anti-Carjacking mode can be activated using the controller.
- Refer to Anti-Carjacking section of this manual for details.
To Activate Remote Anti-Carjack:
Press & Hold Button-4, For Two seconds, With the ignition On.

Hold 2 seconds

Vehicle Finder
The Vehicle Finder feature allows the user to try to locate a lost
vehicle in a parking lot.
To Activate Remote Vehicle Finder:
Press & Release Button-4, With the ignition Off.

Hold 2 seconds

- The siren will emit a long chirp.


- The vehicles parking lights will flash 8 times.
NOTE: If the alarm was Silently Armed, the Vehicle Finder feature will only
flash the parking lights, there will be no siren chirp.

Controller Power Save:


Turning On Power Save:
Press & Release Button-5 & Button-3 at the same time.
- The controller will beep once.
- The On icon will flash.

NOTE: In the Power Save mode, the controller will Go to Sleep 2 minutes
after it is used to disarm the alarm, to conserve battery life.
- The controller will emit 3 low beeps.
- All icons will turn Off, only the Off icon will remain.
-Once the controller Goes to Sleep, it cant monitor the alarms functions,
unless you press a button on the controller to temporarily wake it up.
- The power Save mode can not operate if the alarm is set for Hands-Free
operation.
Turning Off Power Save:
Press & Release Button-5 & Button-4 at the same time.
- The controller will beep once.
- The Off icon will flash.

Controller Low Battery Indicator:


When the battery level is low, the controller will emit 3 low chirps and the
BATT LOW icon will appear. Please install a new battery at this time.
To change the battery:
1) Slide off the battery cover.
2) Replace Battery. (AAA Alkaline battery is recommended)
3) Replace batter cover.
- The controller will beep once when the new battery is inserted.
- If there is no beep, remove the new battery, wait 5 seconds, then reinstall it.

Keypad Lock:
To avoid accidental pressing of the Controllers buttons, the buttons can be
Locked.
Enable Keypad Lock:
Press Button-3 & the Arm/Lock button at the same time.
- The controller will emit one beep, and the KEY LOCK icon will appear.

Disable Keypad Lock:


Press Button-3 & the Disarm/Unlock button at the same time.
- The controller will emit one long beep & the KEY LOCK icon will disappear.

Controller Backlight:
To Turn on the Controller Backlight:
Press Button-5
- The backlight will turn on for 3 seconds.

Controller Mute (Vibrator):


To Enable the Mute function:
Press Button-4 & the Arm/Lock button at the same time.
- The Controller will vibrate 3 times & the MUTE icon will appear.
To Disable the Mute function
Press Button-4 & the Disarm/Unlock button at the same time.
- The Controller will emit 1 beep & the MUTE icon will disappear.

Vehicle Image Selection:


The controller allows you to select which type of vehicle is displayed on the
LCD screen. This can be done either when powering up the controller or using
the selection routine.
To Enter Selection mode:
1) Power up the controller by replacing the battery, or
2) Press & Hold Button-5 on the controller until the controller emits a long
beep followed by a short beep.
3) Once in selection mode:
- Press the Arm/lock button to select a Car, the controller beeps once.
- Press the Disarm/Unlock button to select an SUV, the controller beeps
twice.
- Press Button-3 to select a Pick-Up, the controller beeps three times.
To Exit the selection mode:
Press Button-5 again, or wait for 5 seconds for the controller to exit selection
mode.

Time Clock:
How to set the clock:
Press & Hold Button-5 on the controller until the controller emits a long
beep, followed by a short beep, followed by two short beeps.
- The Time icon will start blinking.
- Use Button-3 to select hour or minute.
- Use Button-1 to increase the hours or minutes.
- Use Button-2 to decrease the hours or minutes.
To exit time clock mode, press Button-5 or wait 8 seconds.

Range:
The Transmitting Tower icon will be present if the alarm responded to the last
command from the controller. If there is no reply from the alarm, the icon will
turn off.

Programmable Anti-Carjacking Protection


The Anti-Carjacking sequence may be activated by any of 4 methods:
1) Using the controller, by holding down Button-4 for 2 seconds while the ignition
is On. (Programmable feature)
2) When a door is Opened while the ignition is On (programmable feature)
3) Every time the ignition is turned On. (Programmable feature)
1) Anti-Carjacking activated using the controller: (Programmable feature)
The Anti Car-Jacking operation may be activated by pressing and holding
Button-4 on the controller for 2 seconds while the ignition is On.
2) Anti-Carjacking activated by an Open door: (Programmable feature)
If this programmable feature is On, the system will initiate the Anti-Carjacking
sequence every time a vehicle door is opened while the ignition is On.
3) Anti-Carjacking activated by the Ignition: (Programmable feature)
If this programmable feature is On, the system will initiate the Anti-Carjacking
sequence every time the vehicles ignition is turned On.
IMMOBILIZER MODE: If the Immobilizer mode is programmed On, the
ignition activated anti-carjacking sequence will be cancelled and the Immobilizer
mode disarmed by: first turning On the vehicles ignition, then enter your PinCode (1-12) using the valet button. (Refer to programmable features)
4) Hands-Free Anti-Carjacking: (Programmable feature)
This feature adds a Layer of additional security and convenience to both the
Open door and Ignition activated Anti-Carjacking sequences.
If this programmable feature is On, the alarm will start to search for the controller
every time the systems Open door or Ignition activated Anti-Carjacking
sequences are initiated. The alarm is looking for a confirmation from your
controller that you are still in or near the vehicle.
- If the alarm does not receive a confirmation from your controller within 20
seconds, the alarm will initiate the Anti-Carjacking sequence.
If the controllers signal is found before full Anti-Carjacking Trigger, the
countdown is stopped. The alarm will continue to search for 5 minutes.
IMPORTANT NOTE (Please Read):
For this Anti-Carjacking system to be effective, the driver MUST keep the
controller hidden on their body, NOT hanging with the keys at the ignition. This
way, in the unfortunate event that you are carjacked, simply follow these steps:
- Surrender the vehicle to the attacker while keeping your controller.
- When the attacker drives away with your vehicle, the communication link
between the controller, which you still have, is broken with the vehicle. Once this
link is broken, the Anti-Carjacking sequence will initiate.

Once the Anti-Carjacking sequence has begun, the user has 59 seconds to
press the Valet/Override Switch in order to cancel the sequence.
ORDER OF ANTI-CARJACKING SEQUENCE:
- For first 20 seconds after the sequence has begun there are no signs.
- From 21-30 seconds, the LED will blink slowly.
- From 31-45 seconds, the LED will blink fast and the siren/horn will chirp
once every 2 seconds.
- From 46-60 seconds, the LED will blink fast and the siren/horn will chirp
once per second.
- If not cancelled yet, at 61 seconds the alarm will trigger.
In the triggered condition:
- The siren/horn will sound & The parking lights will flash.
- The starter interrupt will engage.
NOTE: Once the Anti-Carjack mode is triggered, the controller will NOT stop the
operation, nor will the system reset automatically. Once it is triggered, the
Anti-Carjacking operation can only be deactivated by:
1) Turning the vehicles ignition Off.
2) Turning the vehicles ignition back On.
3) Within 20 seconds, enter your Pin-Code (1-12) using the Valet button.

The LED Status Indicator


The Red LED Status Indicator visually shows the status of the alarm and also
provides a high level of visual deterrence. The Red LED Status Indicator Light is
normally mounted where it can be seen by the driver, as well as from outside.
Security System Status: The primary function of the Red LED Status Indicator
Light is to indicate the normal operating status of the security system:
Off = The system is disarmed and not performing any automatic functions.
On Constant = The system is in the Valet Mode.
Flashing Slow = The system is fully Armed.
Flashing Fast (while Disarmed) = Last Door Arming or Automatic Rearming.
Zone Violation: Once alarm is Disarmed, LED will show which zone triggered
alarm until the ignition is turned On (this clears units memory).
1 flash & pause =
2 flashes & pause
3 flashes & pause
4 flashes & pause
5 flashes & pause

Hood-Switch zone triggered alarm.


= Pin-Switch zone triggered alarm.
= Door zone triggered alarm.
= Sensor zone triggered alarm.
= Vehicles Ignition zone triggered alarm.

Automatic Transmitter Verification: For the first 10 seconds after the vehicles
ignition is turned "On", the LED Status Indicator will flash a number of times equal
to the number of controllers which are programmed to operate the alarm.

Valet Mode
Valet Mode can only be entered into while the alarm is Disarmed.
Valet Mode turns off all of the alarms security features, (including Anti-Carjack).
Valet Mode is designed for situations in which it is not convenient for the security
portion of the alarm to be operational; for example during extended stopovers for
vehicle servicing, loaning others your vehicle, maintenance, valet parking,
washing, etc. The convenience features such as keyless entry will still operate.

To Enter Valet Mode (Alarm MUST be Disarmed):


Press & Hold the Valet Switch for 3 Seconds.
- The LED Status Indicator will light solid Red and the siren will emit a long chirp
to confirm entry into Valet Mode. Now the alarm cannot become Armed.
- The vehicle's ignition may be "On" or "Off" when entering Valet Mode.
- To remind you its in Valet Mode ,The siren will chirp every time the vehicles
ignition is turned Off
Controller Valet Entry Confirmation:
- The Controller will lay a tone to confirm entry into Valet Mode.
- The status icons on the LCD display will be replaced with

To Exit Valet Mode: Simply Press & Release the Valet Switch.
- The LED will turn off and the siren will emit a long chirp to confirm that the
alarm has exited Valet Mode. Normal arming operations may be resumed.
- The vehicle's ignition may be "On" or "Off" when exiting Valet Mode.
Controller Valet Exit Confirmation:
- The Controller will lay a tone to confirm exit from Valet Mode.
- The VALET status icon on the LCD display will be replaced with

Auxiliary Sensor & Prewarning


Auxiliary Sensor: This security system is equipped with a plug-in port for an
optional sensor to increase the effectiveness of the system. The comprehensive
line of optional sensors offered is comprised of impact sensors, glass tampering
sensors, and microwave/radar sensors which can detect motion inside and
outside the vehicle.
Prewarning Detection: This circuit requires connection to a dual zone sensor
or detection device. When the sensors prewarn zone is triggered the siren will
emit a series of chirps.

How to Program Controllers to the Alarm


To program remote controls to operate the alarm:
Step 1: With the alarm Disarmed, Turn "On" the vehicle's ignition.
Step 2: Within 7 seconds press the Valet/Override Switch 5 times. The alarm
will wolf the siren once to confirm entry into Remote Control Programming Mode.
Step 3: Within 10 seconds, press any Button on each remote to be programmed.
The siren will chirp to confirm each time a remote has been programed.
If 10 seconds expire without any programming activity, or if the vehicles ignition
is turned Off, the alarm will automatically exit Remote Control Programming
Mode. The siren will emit 2 long chirps to confirm exit.
NOTE: Up to 4 controllers can be programed to operate the alarm. Whenever a
remote control, new or existing, is programmed to the alarm, all existing codes
are erased for security. So all remote controls which are to operate the alarm,
must be programmed in at the same time.
Immobilizer Mode: The Immobilizer mode must be disarmed before entering
controller programming mode. (Refer to programmable features)
1. Turn On the vehicles ignition
2. Enter your Pin-Code (1-12) using the Valet/Override button.
- The siren will chirp twice to confirm Immobilizer mode is disarmed.
3. Press Valet/override button 5 times to enter remote control programming mode.
ATV: The LED Status Indicator will show the number of controllers programmed
to operate the alarm, for 10 seconds after the vehicles ignition is turned On.
As the instructions above show, programming extra controllers to any vehicle
security system is easy; the exclusive patented ATV feature protects against
someone programming their own controller to operate your system.

How to Program Features


To access Features Programming Mode:
Step 1: Turn the vehicle's ignition "On" then "Off".
Step 2: Within 7 seconds of turning the ignition "Off", press the Valet Switch 5
times. The siren will wolf once confirming entry to Features Programming Mode.
Step 3: Within 10 seconds of entering Features Programming Mode, press the
Valet Switch the number of times equal to the number of the feature to be
programmed. The siren will repeat the feature number with chirps to confirm.
Step 4: After the system acknowledges the feature to be programmed:
- press the Lock button on the remote to turn the feature ON (the siren will
chirp once), or,
- press the Unlock Button to turn feature OFF (siren will chirp twice).
Note: Once the feature to be programed is selected, you can toggle the
feature between its settings by pressing the Lock & Unlock buttons on
the remote control.
- To program more features, simply repeat Steps 3 and 4.
- If 10 seconds expire without any programming activity, or if the vehicles ignition
is turned On, the alarm will automatically exit Features Programming Mode.
The siren will confirm exit.

Programmable Features
The alarm has 23 programmable features which allow it to be customized to suite
many individual needs. The following pages provide a brief explanation for each
feature, and notes its factory default setting.
= Default Factory Setting
1. Pin-Code: (1-12, Default code is 1)
- This feature allows the user to program a Pin-code between 1-12 presses
of the Valet/override button for use in Emergency override situations.
A. Enter the Features programming mode and select feature #1.
B. Within 10 seconds, slowly press and release the controllers Arm/Lock
button a number of times equal to the desired Pin-code, up to 12.
- The siren will chirp every time the controllers Arm/Lock is pressed to
confirm that its entry was registered, wait for the chirp before pressing the
Arm/Lock button again.
C. 4 seconds after the last press of the controllers Arm/Lock, the siren will
chirp the new Pin-code to confirm the number that has been entered.
- The user can program another feature by pressing the Valet button to
select next feature to be programmed (step 3).

2. Last Door Arming: (On = 1 siren chirp / Off =2 chirps)


- Configures the alarm to automatically arm itself 30 seconds after the last
door is closed with the ignition Off.
Arm/Lock Button (1 Siren Chirp) = Last Door Arming On
Disarm/Unlock Button (2 Siren Chirps) = Last Door Arming Off
3. Doors Lock w/ Last Door Arming: (On = 1 siren chirp /Off = 2 chirps)
- Adds the automatic locking of the vehicle's doors to the previous feature.
Arm/Lock Button (1 Siren Chirp) = Doors Lock On
Disarm/Unlock Button (2 Siren Chirps) = Doors Lock Off
4. Auto-Rearm: (On = 1 siren chirp / Off = 2 chirps)
- Allows the Alarm to Rearm itself, if it is Disarmed and a vehicle door is not opened.
Arm/Lock Button (1 Siren Chirp) = Auto-Rearm On
Disarm/Unlock Button (2 Siren Chirps) = Auto-Rearm Off
5. Doors Lock w/ Auto-Rearm: (On = 1 siren chirp /Off = 2 chirps)
- Adds the automatic locking of the vehicle's doors to the previous feature.
Arm/Lock Button (1 Siren Chirp) = Doors Lock On
Disarm/Unlock Button (2 Siren Chirps) = Doors Lock Off
6. Siren & Horn or Horn: ( Siren & Horn = 1 siren chirp / Horn = 2 chirps)
- This feature configures the alarms Brown/White Horn-Honk output wire. This wire
can be configured to honk the horn in addition to the Brown wire operating the siren,
or take over all of the Sirens functions SO THAT NO SIREN IS NECESSARY.
- If Siren & Horn are selected: The horn will honk in addition to siren sounding
only when the door, pin-switch, or ignition zones are violated. (The horn will not
honk if alarm is triggered by the sensor zone, or during confirmation chirps)
- If Only Horn is selected: The car horn will replace the siren and perform all of
its functions. NOTE: Brown Siren wire will still be fully active & operational.
Arm/Lock Button (1 Siren Chirp) = Siren & Horn
Disarm/Unlock Button (2 Siren Chirps) = Horn Only

7. Ignition Door Lock: (On = 1 siren chirp / Off = 2 chirps)


- Configures the alarm to Lock the doors when the ignition is turned On
Arm/Lock Button (1 Siren Chirp) = Ignition Door Lock On
Disarm/Unlock Button (2 Siren Chirps) = Ignition Door Lock Off
8. Ignition Door Unlock: (On = 1 siren chirp / Off = 2 chirps)
- Configures the alarm to Unlock the doors when the ignition is turned Off.
Arm/Lock Button (1 Siren Chirp) = Ignition Door Unlock On
Disarm/Unlock Button (2 Siren Chirps) = Ignition Door Unlock Off
9. System Trigger Cycle: (30s = 1 siren chirp / 60s = 2 chirps)
- Configures the alarm trigger duration to be 30 or 60 seconds.
Arm/Lock Button (1 Siren Chirp) = 30 Seconds
Disarm/Unlock Button (2 Siren Chirps) = 60 Seconds
10. Double Pulse Unlock: ( 2 pulses = 1 siren chirp / 1 pulse = 2 chirps)
- Sets alarm to give 2 unlock pulses upon Disarm for cars that require it.
Arm/Lock Button (1 Siren Chirp) = 2 Unlock Pulses
Disarm/Unlock Button (2 Siren Chirps) = 1 Unlock Pulse
11. Immobilizer Mode: ( On = 1 siren chirp / Off = 2 chirps)
- If this mode is programmed On, the starter interrupt will remain engaged after
the alarm is Disarmed, until the vehicles ignition is turned On and you enter
your Pin-Code using the Valet button.
- If an incorrect Pin-Code is entered, the vehicles ignition must be turned Off,
and then back On again, in order to re-input the Pin-Code.
- Anti-Carjack: Upon disarming the Immobilizer mode, ignition activated anticarjacking will be automatically cancelled, (if programmed On).
- Remote Control Programming Mode: Immobilizer mode must be disarmed
before entering remote control programming mode.
Arm/Lock Button (1 Siren Chirp) = Immobilizer Mode On
Disarm/Unlock Button (2 Siren Chirps) = Immobilizer Mode Off

12. Shock Sensor False-Alarm Bypass: (On = 1 siren chirp / Off = 2 chirps)
- This feature will temporarily turn Off the shock sensor & pre-warn zone if:
a. The pre-warn is triggered 10 times while the alarm is Armed.
b. The instant trigger zone is triggered 5 times while the alarm is Armed.
- The by-passed zones will be reinstated the next time the alarm is Armed.
Arm/Lock Button (1 Siren Chirp) = Sensor Bypass On
Disarm/Unlock Button (2 Siren Chirps) = Sensor Bypass Off
13. Dome-Light Delay Bypass: (On = 1 siren chirp / Off = 2 chirps)
- This feature will turn Off the 3-chirp open zone warning when Arming the alarm
with the remote control. This is for use in vehicles that keep the dome-light
illuminated after the doors have been closed.
Arm/Lock Button (1 Siren Chirp) = Dome-Light Bypass On
Disarm/Unlock Button (2 Siren Chirps) = Dome-Light Bypass Off
14. Auxiliary Channel Output: ( 1.5 Sec = 1 siren chirp / 30 Sec = 2 chirps)
- Configures the alarms Grey wire to operate the:
a. Trunk Release: Supply a 1.5 second (-) output when the Button-3 on the
controller is held for 2 seconds, with the vehicles ignition Off.
b. Window Roll-Up or accessory: Supply a (-) output for 30 seconds when Button3 on the controller is held for 2 seconds, to operate a Window Roll-Up module or
other accessory.
Arm/Lock Button (1 Siren Chirp) = Trunk Release 1.5 Second Pulse
Disarm/Unlock Button (2 Siren Chirps) = 30 Second Output
15. Auxiliary Function: ( Disarm = 1 siren chirp / Maintain Status = 2 chirps)
- This feature adds an addition option to feature #14, it configures the alarm to either
Disarm when the Auxiliary channel is activated, or maintain its current status.
NOTE: Feature #14 must be programmed to Trunk Release 1.5 Second Pulse
for this feature to work.
Arm/Lock Button (1 Siren Chirp) = Aux Disarms Alarm
Disarm/Unlock Button (2 Siren Chirps) = Alarm Maintains Status

16. 3rd Channel Output: (this feature has 3 possible settings)


1) Up to a 30 second latched output when ignition is Off = 1 siren chirp
Supply a latched (-) output, for up to 30 seconds, when Button-4 on the controller
is pressed & held for 2 seconds, while the vehicles ignition is Off.
-A second press of Button-4 will turn Off the output.
2) 30 second output when alarm is Armed = 2 siren chirps
Supply a (-) output for 30 seconds when the alarm is Armed to operate a Window
Roll-Up module or other accessory.
3) Remote Start mode = 3 siren chirps
- The 3rd Channel can be programmed for Remote Start mode. This mode is for
use in conjunction with an optional Starter unit. It allows the vehicle to be
remote started without triggering the unit, while still protecting the perimeter.
When activated, the alarm will bypass the sensor & ignition zones, monitoring
the door zone.
Arm/Lock Button (1 Siren Chirp) = 30 Second Latched output
Disarm/Unlock Button (2 Siren Chirps) = 30 Second Output When Armed
Button-3 (3 Siren Chirps) = Remote Start Mode
17. Controller Activated Anti-Carjacking: (On = 1 chirp / Off = 2 chirps)
- This feature turns the alarms Controller activated Anti-Carjacking feature On
or Off.

Si esta funcin programable esta encendida, el Anti-Atraco se activa cada vez
que se enciende la ignicin del vehculo.
NOTA: MODO DE INMOVILIZADOR: Si la funcin programable (# 5) esta
encendida, al desactivar el modo de inmovilizador, presionando el botn Valet
con la ignicin encendida, tambin se desactiva el Anti-Atraco por Ignicin.

Para poder encender el auto: Desarme la alarma, y enciende la ignicin del
auto. Entonces presione el botn de Valet.
Modo Activado = Presione el botn del Cierre: (1 tono de Sirena/Claxon)
Modo Desactivado = Presione el botn de Apertura: (2 tonos de Sirena/Clax)
6. Sirena y Claxon o Solo Claxon: (Sirena y Claxon)
Esta funcin permite programar el cable Caf/Blanco a sonar el claxon en
conjunto al cable Caf operar la Sirena, O TOMAR TODAS LA FUNCIONES
DE LA SIRENA PARA QUE NO HAGA FALTA INSTALAR SIRENA.
- SIRENA Y CLAXON: Esta funcin permite que el claxon suene en adicin a la
sirena cuando la alarma es disparada por la zona de las puertas, maletero, o
ignicin. El claxon no suena si la alarma es disparada por la zona del sensor, ni
hace tonos de confirmacin.
- SOLO CLAXON: Si la opcin de Solo Claxon se escoje, el claxon hace todas
las funciones de la sirena, en caso que no hay sirena instalada.
Sirena y Claxon = Presione el botn del Cierre: (1 tono de Sirena/Claxon)
Solo Claxon = Presione el botn de Apertura: (2 tonos de Sirena/Claxon)
7. Eliminacin De la Zona Del Sensor Automtica: (D)
- Esta funcin automaticamente elimina la zona del sensor si el pre-aviso se ha
disparado 10 veces, o si la zona del sensor se ha disparado 5 veces.
Eliminacin encendida = Presione el botn del Cierre: (1 tono de Sirena/Clax)
Eliminacin apagada = Presione el botn de Apertura: (2 tonos de Sirena/C)
8. Confirmacin De Zona Abierta Al Armar Con Control Remoto: (D)
- Esta funcin elimina los 3 tonos de la sirena/claxon al Armar la alarma con el
control cuando hay una puerta abierta. Esto es para autos que mantienen la
luz de la cabina iluminada por despus de haber cerrado las puertas.
Elimina los 3 tonos = Presione el botn del Cierre: (1 tono de Sirena/Claxon)
3 tonos activo = Presione el botn de Apertura: (2 tonos de Sirena/Clax).

Programacin De Funciones
La alarma tiene 14 funciones que son progrmales a travs del modo de programacin. Estas funciones estn listada en las prximas paginas.
Para entrar al modo de programacin de funciones:
1) Encienda y Apague la ignicin del auto.
2) Antes que pasen 7 segundos desde el momento que se apaga la
ignicin, presione el botn de Valet 5 veces. La sirena emite un tono
3) Antes que pasen 10 segundos desde el momento de la entrada al
modo de programacin, presione el botn de "Valet un numero de
veces que corresponde al numero de la funcin por programar.
- La Sirena emite el mismo numero de tonos para confirmar cual funcin fue
escogida. Por ejemplo: Para cambiar la funcin #3, presiona el botn de
Valet 3 veces y la Sirena/Claxon emite 3 tonos.
4) Despus de haber escogido la funcin por programar, presione el
botn del Cierre para encender la funcin o presiona el botn de
Apertura para apagar la funcin.
NOTA: Es posible Encender y Apagar y volver a Encender y Apagar la
funcin usando los botones de Cierre y Apertura en el control remoto.
5) Para programar otra funcin, repitan las lneas #3-4.
- Para escoger otra funcin es necessario volver a presionar el botn "Valet"
el numero de veces que corresponde al numero de la funcin por programar.
Ejemplo: Para programar la funcin #1, presiona el botn de Valet" una vez y
la Sirena/Claxon emite 1 tono.
6) Si pasan 10 segundos sin entrada de programacin o si se enciende
la ignicin del vehculo, la alarma automaticamente sale del modo de
programacin. La Sirena/Claxon confirma la salida.

Funciones Programables
= Significa programacin de fabrica.
1.Rearme Automtico: (A)
Activado = Presione el botn del Cierre: (1 tono de Sirena/Claxon)
Desactivado = Presione el botn de Apertura: (2 tonos de Sirena/Claxon)

Zona Del Sensor y Pre-Aviso


La Alarma viene preparada para un sensor de doble zona con pre-alarma. La zona
del sensor vigila contra violaciones en general. Si el sensor detecta una violacin
se dispara la alarma inmediatamente.
Zona De Pre-Alarma: La zona de Pre-Alarma vigila contra violaciones
pequeas. Si la zona de Pre-alarma detecta una violacin, la Sirena/Claxon
emite una serie de tonos por 2-segundos.

Programacin De Controles Remotos A La Alarma


Para programar los controles remotos:
1) Enciende la ignicin del auto.
2) Antes que pasen 7 segundos, presione el botn de Valet 5 veces
- La Sirena/Claxon emite un tono confirmando la entrada al modo.
3) Antes que pasen 10 segundos, presione un botn de cada control
remoto por programar:
- Se puede programar hasta 4 controles remotos.
- La Sirena/Claxon emite un tono cada vez que un control se ha programado.
4) La alarma sale del modo de programacin al Apagar la ignicin o si
pasan 10 segundos sin entrada de programacin.
- La Sirena/Claxon confirma la salida del modo con 2 tonos largos.
NOTA: Se pueden programar 4 controles para operar la alarma. Cada vez que
un control se programa, todos los controles en la memoria se borran para su
seguridad. Es necessario programar todos los controles de una vez.
MODO DE INMOVILIZADOR: Si esta funcin programable (# 5) esta encendida, es necesario desactivar el modo de inmovilizador antes de entrar al
modo de programacin de controles remotos.
1. Enciende la ignicin del vehculo.
2. Antes que pasen 10 segundos, presione el botn de Valet para desactivar el
modo de Inmovilizador, entonces
3. Presione el botn de Valet 5 veces para entrar al modo de programacin.
PROTECCIN ATV: Por los primeros 90 segundos despus de que se
encienda la ignicin del auto la luz LED hace una serie de intermitencias,
separada por una pausa, que corresponden al numero de controles remotos
que estn programado en la memoria de la alarma.

Modo de Valet
Solo se puede entrar al modo de Valet cuando la alarma esta Desarmada:
En el modo de Valet todas las funciones de seguridad quedan apagadas y
solamente las funciones de conveniencia como la apertura y el cierre de los
seguros elctricos funcionan. El modo de Valet esta diseado para ocasiones
en el cual seria inconveniente que la alarma este operando, por ejemplo cuando
el vehculo este en el mecnico.

Para Entrar Al Modo De Valet: Con la alarma Desarmada,


presione el botn de Valet por 3 segundos con la ignicin del
vehculo encendida o apagada.
- La luz LED se enciende fijamente y la sirena emite un tono para confirmar.
- Para recordarte que la alarma esta en Valet, la sirena emite un tono cada
vez que se apaga la ignicin del auto.

Para Salir Del Modo De Valet: Presione el botn de Valet una


vez con la ignicin del vehculo encendida o apagada.
- La luz LED se apaga y la sirena emite un tono largo para confirmar salida.

La Luz LED
La luz LED tiene 3 funciones principales:
1) Muestra el Estado de la alarma:
- Intermitencia lenta = La alarma esta Armada.
- Intermitencia rpida (alarma Desarmada) = El proces de Armado/
Rearme automtico ha comenzado.
- LED Apagado = Alarma Desarmada sin Armado/Rearme automtico.
- LED Fijo = La alarma esta en el modo de Valet.
2) Verifica cuantos controles estn programado: (Proteccin ATV)
Por los primeros 90 segundos despus de que se encienda la ignicin , la
luz LED hace una serie de intermitencias que corresponden al numero de
controles remotos que estn programado en la memoria de la alarma.

3) Advierte que hubo un disparo y confirma cual zona fue violada:


Si ha habido un disparo, al Desarmar la alarma, la luz LED indica
exactamente cual zona fue violada hasta que se encienda la ignicin.

3 intermitencias /pausa = La zona de las Puertas fue violada.
4 intermitencias /pausa = La zona del Sensor fue violada.

Anti- Atraco
La alarma viene equipada con 3 tipos de proteccin Anti-Atraco:

1) Anti-Atraco Por Control Remoto: (Funcin Programable #10)


Presione el botn Pequeo por 3 segundos, con la ignicin encendida.

2) Anti-Atraco a travs de la ignicin y una puerta Abierta: ( #10)


Si la funcin programable # 10 esta encendida, el Anti-Atraco se activa cada
vez que se Abre una puerta cuando la ignicin del vehculo esta encendida.

3) Anti-Atraco a travs de la ignicin: (Funcin Programable #9)


Si la funcin programable # 9 esta encendida, el Anti-Atraco se activa cada vez
que se enciende la ignicin del vehculo.
MODO DE INMOVILIZADOR: Si la funcin programable (# 5) esta encendida, al
desactivar el modo de inmovilizador, presionando el botn Valet con la ignicin
encendida, tambin se desactiva el Anti-Atraco por Ignicin.

Al comenzar la secuencia del Anti-Atraco, el usuario tiene 59 segundos para


presionar el botn de Valet para cancelar el Anti-Atraco.
Secuencia DEL Anti-Atraco:
- Por los primeros 20 segundos no hay advertencias.
- Entre 21-30 segundos la luz LED hace intermitencias lentas.
- Entre 31-45 segundos la luz LED hace intermitencias rapadas y la sirena
emite un tono cada 2 segundos.
- Entre 46-60 segundos la luz LED hace intermitencias rapadas y la sirena
emite un tono cada 1 segundo.
- Si no se ha cancelado la secuencia, a los 61 segundos se dispara el AntiAtraco.

Para desactivar el Anti-Atraco despus de que fue disparado:


a) Apaga la ignicin del vehculo.
b) Enciende la ignicin del vehculo.
c) Antes que pasen 5 segundos, presione el botn de "Valet".

Modo Armado De La Alarma


Al entrar la alarma en el modo Armado, la Sirena/Claxon emite un tono, las
luces de estacionamiento hacen una intermitencia, los seguros elctricos
cierran (si estn conectados), el corte de arranque se activa, y la luz LED
comienza una intermitencia lenta. En este modo, si cualquiera zona detecta
una violacin la alarma se dispara.
Un disparo consiste de lo siguiente:
- La Sirena/Claxon comienza a sonar para atraer atencin.
- Las luces de estacionamiento comienzan una intermitencia.
CICLO DE DISPARO: El ciclo de disparo dura 30-segundos a no ser que
Desarmen la alarma usando un control remoto o el botn de Valet. Si todas
las zonas protegidas estn seguras al final del ciclo, la alarma se reactiva y
continua vigilando contra otra violacin. Si existe una zona abierta al final del
ciclo, la alarma inicia otro disparo. Despus de 6 disparos consecutivos la
alarma elimina la zona abierta hasta que esa zona cierre. El resto de las
zonas se mantienen completamente protegidas. Al Desarmar la alarma
despus de un disparo, la Sirena/Claxon emite 4 tonos, las luces de estacionamiento hacen 4 intermitencias, y la luz LED indica cual zona fue violada.

- El corte de arranque se desactiva.
- La luz LED comienza una intermitencia rpida para Rearme automtico
hasta que se Rearma la alarma, o se habr una puerta del auto.
DESARME SEGURO DE 2 ESCALAS: Si la alarma esta disparada, presionando cualquier botn del control remoto solo silencia la sirena, es necesarios
presionar el botn de Apertura una segunda vez.
MODO DE INMOVILIZADOR: Si esta funcin programable (# 5) esta encendida,
el corte se mantiene activado despus del Desarme. Para poder encender el
auto, es necesario encender la ignicin y presionar el botn de valet.
- Al desactivar el modo de Inmovilizador, se cancela el Anti-Atraco por ignicin
Para poder encender el auto: Desarme la alarma, y enciende la ignicin del
auto. Entonces presione el botn de valet.

Desarme De Emergencia: (Desarme sin el control remoto)


Esta funcin permite Desarmar la alarma sin el uso del control remoto. Esta
funcin esta diseada para ocasiones en el cual la alarma esta Armada o en
pleno disparo y el control remoto esta sin batera, roto, o perdido.
a) Enciende la ignicin del vehculo con la llave.
b) Antes que pasen 10 segundos, presione el botn Valet

- La sirena emite 3 tonos para confirmar que una zona ha sido excluida.

3) Armado y Rearme Automtico:


Esta funcin programable permite que la alarma se Arme Automaticamente.
- Al cerrar la ultima puerta despus de haber apagado la ignicin, la sirena
emite un tono y la luz LED comienza una intermitencia rpida por 30 seg.
Al fin de 30 segundos la alarma se Arma.
- La Sirena/Claxon emite un tono.
- Las luces de estacionamiento hacen una intermitencia.
- Los seguros elctricos cierran (si estn conectados y programados).
- El corte de arranque se activa.
- Y la luz LED comienza una intermitencia lenta para confirmar el Armado.
Nota: El Armado Automtico no funciona si la ignicin esta encendida o si
existe una zona abierta. Si se abre una puerta durante los 30-segundos antes
del armado automtico, el proces para y comienza al cerrar la puerta.
REARME (Programmable): En caso de un Desarme accidental, la alarma se
Rearme automaticamente si no se ha abierto una puerta del auto.
