BJP President Shri Amit Shah on Saturday inaugurated GopinathGadh
commemorating the birth anniversary of Late Shri Gopinath Munde and addressed a
public gathering on this occasion in Beed District, Maharashtra. Addressing the birth
anniversary programme, he said that I came here to pay my tribute to Shri Gopinath
MundeonthebehalfofcroresofBJPworkers.
Addressing the gathering, ShriShahsaid,"TheglorydaysofBJPanditsgovernmentin
Maharashtratoday are duetothefoundationoforganizationalstructureofthePartylaid
by ShriGopinathJiinhisshortspanoflifeand thewayheworkedtoensuretheparty's
spread among the poor and downtrodden." He said that the achievement, Shri
Gopinathji got as Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister of Maharashtra is
incomparable. Shri Shah saidthatasHomeMinisterofMaharashtra,hewashed outthe
infamiesofnotoriety ofthestateofbeing criminal elementsdominatingstates. Hesaid,
when BJP came into power in the Centre in the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi Ji,
Shri Gopinath Mundeji was assigned the rural developmentportfolioto upliftthe lifeof
the poor,the labourers, Dalits,thefarmersandbackwardsduetohisefficiencytoserve
them.
BJP President said, every worker of the Party is committed to fulfil the dreams and
ideasofShriGopinathMundejibyrealizing hisprinciplesandmovingonthepathshown
by him. Shri Shah said that the government is not for luxury but for the welfare of
backward, downtrodden and poor and I am confident of that Maharashtra will soon
regain the numero uno spot in the country under the leadership of Shri Devendra
Fadnavis.
Shri Shah said that the present BJPled Maharashtra government is so clean that the
Opposition hasn'tbeen abletolevelallegation ofasinglerupeeworthofcorruption.He
said, the previous CongressNCP governmentspend morethan75thousand croresof
rupeesonirrigation but even singleinchof landcouldnotget irrigatedinthestatewhile
the current Devendra Fadnavis government has established a new dimension by
ensuring irrigation to reach out to 6200 villages with a paltry amount of 7500 crore
rupees.
Shri Shah highlighted the profarmers initiatives taken andthe amount ofwelfare work
done by the Narendra Modi Government in centre and the the Devendra Fadnavis
Government in Maharashtra. Shri Shah said, as Shri Narendra Modi became Prime
Minister, he reduced the crop damage compensation criteria from 50% to 33% for
farmers and also increased 50% in the amount of the compensation. Shri Shah
mentioned that Shri Narendra Modiled central government has decided to offer Soil
Health Card to every farmer by 2019 to ensure proper development of agriculture so
that farmers could perform their farming activity easily. Shri Shah said, "the central
government is running many public welfare schemes like Mudra Bank Yojna, Jeevan
JyotiBima Yojna,Jeevan SurakshaBima Yojna,JanDhan Yojna etc toempower poor
andbackwardswhichhavebeguntoproducethedesiredresultsnow.
BJP President Shri Amit Shah said that I pay again my courteous tribute to Shri
Gopinath Ji and reassure people that our government will continue to work for the
sustainedwelfareforoppressed,thepoor,backwards,Dalitsandfarmers.
