The Challenge: You have been hired as a marketing consultant team (3 people) to
help develop a marketing plan for a company in Vietnam. Choose a company among
the three companies being studied by your team members in their previous
assignment. Use the information you have previously gathered in your marketing
audit* to develop a 3-year marketing plan for a new product/service in Vietnamese
market.
Your group should make personal contact with the company and gather additional
information as needed from and about the company and its environment, and
present your findings and recommendations in a written report and an oral
presentation (details in the Presentation Assessment Form).
Additional sources are encouraged to incorporate in your report on ethical issues.
LO 3: Be able to formulate a marketing plan for a product or service.

PRESENTATION
1. This is a group assignment to be submitted in a report and an oral
presentation, of which the presentation focuses on introducing the key points
of the Marketing Plan.
2. The report should have a cover page that includes the assignment title,
assignment number, course title, module title, Lecturer/tutor name and
students name. Attach all the pages of assignment brief/cover sheet with your
report and leave them blank for official use.

3. Ensure that authenticity declaration has been signed. Also, please submit
your assignment to Turnitin for checking the authenticity.
4. There should be a Table of Content sheet with a list of all headings and page
numbers. A list of Abbreviations (if any) will be provided in a separate sheet.
5. The report document should be fully typed up professionally (use 11-point
Arial or 13-point Times New Roman script) and should not exceed 3,000
words in length.
6. Use the Harvard referencing system.
7. The report should be not contain a bibliography, but should contain a list of
any references used in the assignment.
8. The presentation is delivered within 15 minutes, plus 5 minutes for
Questions/Answers. All group members should take part in the presentation.
NOTES TO STUDENTS FOR SUMMISSION

You must take responsibility for managing your own time effectively.

You must submit your report to Turnitin:


a. First time: by 23:59 Friday 5 December 2014 to check originality of
your work. Rewrite your report if matching of 20% and higher is
reported.
b. Second time: by 23:59 Monday 8 December 2014 as your final
version. Penalty of paper not being marked will be applied for any
work with matching of 20% and above.

Failure to achieve a PASS grade will results in a REFERRAL grade being


given.

Take great care if you use other peoples work or ideas in your assignment,
you properly reference them in your text and any bibliography.
