Chapter I
INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background of the Study
The rapid growth of technology has contributed a lot to the continued
progress of all classification of industry. However, some sectors today seem to
be left behind in adapting the use of different methods to have progress on
their part.
Nowadays, business people define the applications and problems to be
solved by the computer. But unfortunately this potential has not been fully
recognized or even adequately realized in some business. It is because users
may not fully understand the capabilities and limitations of modern computer
technology.
Computerization is a control system that manages processes in the
industrial workplace. It reduce human errors and processing time, thus it can
boost productivity and result into a high quality of product produce. This can
result in a system well integrated process that can perform much faster and
more accurate than the manual system.
The Barangay Profiling System is appropriate for the use of barangay
employees, who have access to profile information of barangay residents for
the direct reports and also departmental organizational staffs that have
business need for this information for their business unit. The Barangay
Profiling System is responsible for an effective and efficient approach for
baranagay employees and residents. It will help them accomplish task faster
and also it eliminates the need of a large staff. It will provide profile-based
information on residents.
The interest of investigating the research topic is a good example of a
computer generated process, this can lessen the workload and provides
information needed by a resident. As a result, it will benefit not only the
barangay employee but the administration as a whole.

5.2 Conclusion
The researchers conclude that using the said study is more effective
and efficient in recording the residents profiles and therefore it is not already
a burden and laborious on the apart of the officials in charge in updating the
profiles of each residents and generates records of each residents.
5.3 Recommendation

Peablanca should adopt it, so, as to cope with a high speed transformation
of technology and could generate a great degree of accuracy and speed.

peanut mongo beans, tobacco, sorghum and millet. These hunters are fond of
drinking chocolate which they get from the cacao seeds which they planted in
abundance. The best cake that goes with this chocolate is a native cake from
millet. Millet in the Ibanang dialect is NANNA. Because of their fondness in
drinking chocolate with millet or Nanna cake, they planted their farm with
plenty of millet. Their millet or nanna plants grew very well, very healthy and
very productive.
One time, some Spaniards passed by the farm. They were so excited
and very happy upon seeing how beautiful and how plenty were the millet or
Nanna. They asked the farmers what those plants were. The farmers
answered NANNA RA YAN meaning Those are millet. The Spaniards kept
on repeating Nannarayan until they got so used to saying the words and
soon the words Nanna ray an became one word, Nannarian. Not long after
in the latter 60s the place was proclaimed as a barangay. When Nannarian
was not proclaimed as barangay, it has three (3) sitios, namely Paku, Labo
and Fugu. Later on, in the latter 70s Nannarianhas five (5) zones. After
sometime, the zone was change into purok and with five (5) puroks, then with
six (6) and presently it has seven (7) puroks due to the rapid increase in
population.
