I am doing Part time job as Marketting and Technical Land Surveyor
in Global GIS (Pvt) Ltd from June 2014.
The Global GIS (Pvt) Ltd is the local agent in Sri Lanka of survey
instruments such are PENTAX, KOLIDA, SXBlue GNSS System,
UAVER and SyQwest and survey software such as MicroSurvey
CAD.
Mar.2015 July.2015: Industrial Training (Land Surveyor Trainee)
I have carried out my industrial training at VS Hydro (Pvt) Ltd for 16
successive weeks from 23th March 2015 to 10th July 2015 as Land
Surveyor.

Installation Capacity : 2 MW
My Duties
Preparation of Cross Section and longitudinal section plans
Topographical survey
A loop of Levelling Traverse with Marking TBMs.
Total Station Traversing with adjusting the Traverse error,
TBM Fixing/ Checking with TBM error adjusting.
Setout alignment of canel with proper curves (like simple,
reversal), Setting out points for Structural foundation and
structures and doing road setting out.
Preparation of Survey Plans and Sections, Contour Plans.
Monitoring of all survey related works and staff to run the
execution work in a smooth manner.
Carry out the topographical survey of acquire land to construct
power house.
Making the Survey drawing by using softwares.
Stakeout points on site and giving the level on site. And
Calculating the cutting filling quantity.
