Technology
Microencapsulation : Covering of an active with a continuous membrane or film thus protecting it from outside
environment.
Types of MicroCapsules
MicroCap WS : Water Soluble Matrix type functional encapsulation with exceptional leakage resistance. MicroCap
WS dry powder is a proprietary mixture of emulsifiers, surfactants, carbohydrates, polysaccharides and actives.
Typical active loading of 40-55%. Dry Powder with 30-80 mean particle size.
MicroCap : Water Insoluble, Shell & Core functional microcapsules with high temperature (160- 250C) resistance, pH
resistance and leakage resistance. Triggered release through burst or diffusion. Temperature activation has been
designed for specific applications. Typical active loading of 80-95%. Mean Particle size 5-15. Delivered in a water
dilutable slurry form which is a proprietary mix of surfactants, aminoplast polymers, inorganics and actives.

Sustained and targeted release of antifungal actives from dry films in exterior/interior paints. Slow release actives
for antifouling paints and coatings in marine environment
