DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance and supporting of about 10 DS Servers in the role of Datastage Administrator.

Implementing Business logic for the different transformation rules to be implemented.

Coordination with different teams for data correction, cleansing functions.

Developed Datastage project backup script in Windows server and scheduled it through the OPC scheduler
to run daily/weekly. It also updates the backup success/failure report in a text file for the history of backups
with date/time,

Auto-cleanup of backups which are more than 3 weeks old as per requirement.

Also developed script for rollback the backups taken when needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities included requirement gathering, designing, development, unit testing, system testing and
warranty support for the ETL jobs using DataStage V 8.0.

Lead development of 3 out of 7 Source systems DS job development and also developed Common jobs using
data from staging area data of these source system to the publishing layer, which includes Data cleansing,
Address Verification & Standardization, Perl scripting, primary key generation using CRC process and
rejecting orphan child entity data.

Additional responsibilities were to enhance competency knowledge of the team and increase their
knowledge base in DataStage.

PROJECT: DS J OB DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
