NOTE: 1. Selected Candidates with Masters degree will be encouraged to register for the Ph.D programme at IIT Madras as
relevant Subject to satisfying the norms and admission criteria of IIT MADRAS.
2. Selected candidates can apply for the MS programme at IIT Madras after six months on the project, with the
supervisors recommendation as relevant Subject to satisfying the norms and admission criteria of IIT MADRAS.
Other things are being equal, preference will be given to SC/ST candidates.
The Principal Investigator has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a
reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the announcement.
Application on plain paper giving name, date of birth, age, address, full details of educational qualifications (stating the
marks, rank, year of passing), community and experience etc., along with copies of certificates, should reach the following
address on or before 15.09.2014. Candidates already working in any project at IIT, Madras should send their application
through the Co-ordinator of the project.
