Lee Iacocca
Lee Iacocca graduated from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa., in 1945 and
received a master's degree in engineering from Princeton University in 1946. Best
known for his helmsmanship at Chrysler Motors, Iacocca started out as a sales
manager at the Ford Motor Co. in 1946 and by 1970 was president of the company.
Joining Chrysler in 1978, Iacocca helped drag the troubled company from the brink of
extinction by helping secure $1.5 billion in government loans. Iacocca's legendary status
in the automobile industry is reinforced by his role in the introduction of that American
icon: the Ford Mustang. He was also one of the first CEOs to proselytize his company's
products on national television with the K car campaign.

Philip Condit
Company
Elected president and member of the board of directors of Boeing in 1992, Phil
Condit added the title of chief executive officer in 1996. In 1997, he was elected
chairman. He was the seventh chairman since the company was founded in 1916. Phil
Condit resigned from his position as chairman and chief executive officer of The Boeing
Company on Dec. 1, 2003. He retired from the company in March 2004.
Under Condit's leadership, several mergers and acquisitions transformed the
company into a broad-based, global enterprise. The acquisition of Rockwell Aerospace,
the merger with McDonnell Douglas and the addition of Hughes Space &
Communications established a company with great strength and breadth.

Edmund T. Pratt, Jr. was the Chairman and CEO of Pfizer Inc.. He served as
President from 1971 to 1972, CEO from 1972 to 1991, and Chairman from 1972 to
1992. He is the namesake of Duke University's Engineering School. Ed Pratt expanded
Pfizer operations into almost every country of the world during the 1970s, firmly
establishing the company's position of leadership as a global entity. His involvement in
city, state, and national affairs also brought Pfizer widespread recognition as a
responsible and responsive corporate citizen.

John F. Welch, Jr. - received his engineering undergraduate degree in his homestate at the University of Massachusetts. After he earned his Ph.D. in chemical
engineering from the University of Illinois, he accepted a job offer from General Electric.
The rest is history -- he became chairman and CEO of General Electric in 1981.
He who went by the name Jackwas among America's most recognized and
controversial chief executives. During his 41 years at General Electric (GE) Welch rose
from his position as an entry-level junior engineer to become the company's youngest
vice president and later its youngest CEO and chairman.

As Googles chief executive officer, Larry is responsible for Googles day-to-dayoperations, as well as leading the companys product development and technology
strategy. He co-founded Google with Sergey Brin in 1998 while pursuing a Ph.D. at
Stanford University, and was the first CEO until 2001growing the company to more
than 200 employees and profitability. From 2001 to 2011, Larry was president of
products.
Larry holds a bachelors degree in engineering from the University of Michigan,
Ann Arbor and a masters degree in computer science from Stanford University. He is a
member of the National Advisory Committee (NAC) of the University of Michigan
College of Engineering, and together with co-founder Sergey Brin, Larry was honored
with the Marconi Prize in 2004. He is a trustee on the board of the X PRIZE, and was
elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2004.

Tim Cook is the CEO of Apple and serves on its Board of Directors. Before being
named CEO in August 2011, Tim was Apple's Chief Operating Officer and was
responsible for all of the companys worldwide sales and operations, including end-toend management of Apples supply chain, sales activities, and service and support in all
markets and countries. He also headed Apples Macintosh division and played a key
role in the continued development of strategic reseller and supplier relationships,
ensuring flexibility in response to an increasingly demanding marketplace. Prior to
joining Apple, Tim was vice president of Corporate Materials for Compaq and was
responsible for procuring and managing all of Compaqs product inventory. Previous to

Satya Nadella is Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft. Before being named CEO
in February 2014, Joining Microsoft in 1992, he quickly became known as a leader who
could span a breadth of technologies and businesses to transform some of Microsofts
biggest product offerings.
Most recently, Nadella was executive vice president of Microsofts Cloud and
Enterprise group. In this role he led the transformation to the cloud infrastructure and
services business, which outperformed the market and took share from competition.
Previously, Nadella led R&D for the Online Services Division and was vice president of
the Microsoft Business Division. Before joining Microsoft, Nadella was a member of the
technology staff at Sun Microsystems.
