Prepare the Project schedule, Project CTR for the Electrical system
Supervising Team members.
Handle manpower loading.
Review the Basis of Design (from the Client) with team and finalise the
feasibility of the Design proceedings.
Prepare the Detail Engineering Basis as per the Project scope and issue
the Document control Register for the client review and approve.
Based on the DEB and DCR prepare the

o One Line Diagrams, Schematic Drawings, Lighting, Small Power,

comments and justify to Client the about the not valid
comments.
Prepare the RFQ (Request for Quotation) with the necessary
approved Documents / Datasheets / Drawings and Project Detail
Engineering Basis.
Receive the Quotation from the bidders, arrange the technical
bid evaluation and commercial bid evaluation with Client and
Bidders.

B: FPSOs, 2 Nos. Project


Detail Engineering
Involving from the FEED Engineering of the Project as per the Basis of
Design from Client.
Prepared the FEED Engineering report, estimated man hours (design),
schedule, CTR
Based on the Basis of Design, prepare the Electrical Design Basis,
Electrical Load list and overall single line diagram for the Top side
Electrical system.
Discuss and get approval from Client for the Electrical Design Basis and
Single Line Diagram.
Prepared the E house layout with the preliminary panel boards
dimension and issued the RFQ to vendor.
Prepared the Specifications & Data sheets for the following system:
o E house, HVAC system for E house, HV Switch Board (11kV), HV
and LV soft starters, Power Transformers (4MVA, 11/.44kV) &
Neutral Grounding system
o LV Systems & Distribution, Essential Switch Board and systems
o LV MCC, Distribution Boards (Normal/ Emergency )
o UPS system (100KVA) with Batteries
o Power Management systems (PMS)
o Boiler & Generator Accessories system
o PAGA system, Cable Ladder system, Lighting system
o Cables and Bulk materials (glands, light fittings, Junction boxes
etc.,)
Submitted the Specification and Datasheets for IDC and Client
approval. Had a detailed discussion with Client and got the approval to
purchase the Equipment.

Position Applied For: --------- Engineer

Sent RFQ for the Electrical Equipments and get the quotations /
prepared the comparative statements and conducted technical
discussion and commercial negotiation with various vendors. Select the
vendor with the best delivery, within budgetary cost with value added
support.
Based on the load list split the loads in to various switch boards and
prepared the operational philosophy of the various systems with
interlocks. Discuss with the Client and got the approval for the
Operational Philosophy of the various systems.
As per the approved operational philosophy, discussed with the vendor
and got the Single Line diagrams for HV, LV, Essential LV, Lighting,
Emergency and UPS systems etc.,
Based on the Single line diagrams, finalize the Schematic drawings and
GA drawings of the Switch Gears, MCC and Distribution boards.
Prepared the cable schedule and issued for procurement / construction.
Preliminary short circuit studies for the Electrical system, Cable Sizing,
Transformer sizing, Load analysis by using ETAP software
Supervision for Construction, Testing and Commissioning

2. Senior Project Engineer Electrical (Design) for the Platform,


FPSOs, Well Head

Pte Ltd from April 2005 to Nov 2005:
Understand the Contracts clearly and prepare the schedule and
planning for the project.
Call the Tender from the vendors and have a technical discussion with
them.
Prepare the Comparative financial statement and submit to
management.
Co-ordinate with Engineering Contractor and Client to get the approval
for the Drawings, Specs, Datasheets, Procedure etc.,
Prepare the Engineering Deliverables and follow-up. Conduct the
weekly technical discussion with Engineering and finalise the
Deliverables.
Co-ordinate with Engineering Team to issue the approved drawings for
the Construction.
Prepare the HSE procedure and co-ordinate with Safety to do the
Project successfully with Zero LTI.
Attend the Site Inspection with the Engineering team on the existing
FSO and Attend the necessary FAT.
Coordinating with the construction team to achieve the goal as per the
Schedule.
Involve in the cost implication with the Management Team.
Recruited the other key personals for the Projects.
Involve in the Testing and Commissioning of the Electrical Power Gen
systems.
