This document is a script for a short film called "The Ripper". It follows two teenage girls, Teresa and Shrina, as they leave school one evening. Shrina convinces Teresa to take a shortcut home that goes down a dark, isolated road. On the road, Teresa sees a tall man in a suit with a face full of bugs. Though Shrina doesn't see him, Teresa is frightened. They arrive at their street safely but Teresa remains uneasy. As she walks alone, the Ripper appears in front of her, and she screams for help.

FADE IN:
INT. CORRIDOR EVENING
TERESA (16), an average teenager walks with SHRINA (16),
a normal teenager, and is walking towards the exit of the
school after a tiring day.
CUT TO:
EXT. SCHOOL GATE - EVENING
TERESA and SHRINA both walk out of the school and
TERESA stops pulls up her sleeve and looks at her watch
TERESA
Gosh, look at the time!
SHRINA
I know right! Sir kept us for too long

As SHRINA and TERESA walk out of the school, SHRINA stops


and points to her left and requests TERESA if they can
take that route that SHRINA is pointing to, to go home.
CUT TO:
EXT. ENTRANCE EVENING
SHRINA
TERESA come this way its much quicker to home
TERESA
How comes you want to go this way all of a sudden?
(MORE)
SHRINA (CONTD)
Common we are so late and its quicker!

TERESA
Fine whatever, but how do you know its quicker?
SHRINA
Dont worry, my sister dropped me home once using this
route
TERESA and SHRINA start to walk, SHRINA lets TERESA lead
the way and follows her.
DISSOLVE TO:
EXT. LONG ROAD EVENING
TERESA and SHRINA are still walking the long road and
talking to each other. The road which SHRINA chose to
take was a dark area with no lights around them. TERESA
gets suspicious and is worried and asks SHRINA.
TERESA
How long did you say this road is?
SHRINA
Dont worry were almost home TEE (TERESA)
TERESA doesnt seem comfortable on taking this route.
THE RIPPER (30s), tall, wearing a full black suit and
has a face full of bugs. THE RIPPER comes and stands in a
proud position and glares at TERESA
TERESA turns around and sees a tall man in a suit with a
face full of bugs. TERESA closes her eyes and yells
TERESA
AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

SHRINA
What on earth! What happened!

TERESA
LOOK! Dont you see him!
SHRINA
See what Tee? See who!
TERESA opens her eyes and points to a car
TERESA
I just saw a man with in a suit with a bug sort face!
(THE RIPPER)
SHRINA
Bug sort face in a suit yeah?
TERESA
YES!
SHRINA
Lets just go home, detention messed your head too much
DISSOLVE TO:
TERESA and SHRINA have finally made it to their road.
TERESA drops SHRINA before she enters the front yard.
TERESA says her goodbyes but still doesnt say how she
felt about the route they took.
SHRINA
Told you itll be quicker didnt I?
TERESA
Yeah but I still dont feel comfortable taking it
SHRINA
You just got a few more steps, you live just few more
doors down the road
TERESA
Yeah youre right, anyways see you tomorrow SHRINA

SHRINA
Yeah whatever, bye babe
CUT TO:
SHRINA with the keys in her hands, she walks and opens
her door and gets inside her house. TERESA carries on
walking down the road worried thinking of the person with
the bug face in the suit. She then thinks and finds it a
silly thought and continues to walk. Without seeing where
shes going she trips over and drops her phone, she
laughs
TERESA (Laughing)
Aha, cant believe I fell over my own leg
As TERESA taking her trip a joke, she then picks up her
phone from the side and she then looks up and sees THE
RIPPERs face right in front of her and screams
TERESA (Screaming)
SHRRRIINNNNAAAAAAAAAA
FADE OUT:
