How to Run Workflow Manager

Start  Programs  Informatica Powercenter6.1 Workflow Manager-


Repository  Student  Userid/Pwd.

Step 1: (First time Only)

Connections:

Relational Select type : Oracle


Add- Name : Connection Name(Ramu_scott)
Username : Scott or student or userid.
Pwd : tiger or student or u pwd.
Connecting String : ora

Step 2:

Tools: Task Developer  Create Task


Select the task type to create: Session
Enter a new task name : S_Any name
Create  Done
Right click on session Edit.
Choose Source tab: source connection
Target tab: target connection  propertiesTarget load type:
Select normal
Transformation tab: Location Information (Only Lookup& SP).
Apply  Ok  Repository save  Task  validate.

Step 3:

Tools  Workflow Designer  Create  Workflow


Enter workflow name: Wf_nameOk
Start button automatically display on workflow designer
Drag session from navigator window to workflow designer
Link between Start and Session.

Repository save  go to workflow  Validation


Right click on workflow designer  Start workflow

Step 4:

Go to taskbar  right side  select workflow monitor  double click 


Choose your userid(folder)
