Chapter 18 Probability (Exercise)

This document contains a probability exercise with 10 questions. It begins with notes on probability definitions and formulas. The exercise questions involve events such as drawing cards/marbles from boxes, rolling dice, students' transportation methods, and job offers. They require calculating probabilities of individual and combined events using the formulas and information provided, such as sample spaces and probability distributions.

2. ()
P(A) = 1, means the event A will definitely occur.
P(A) = 0, means the event A will definitely not occur.
3. If A is the complement of an event A, then
