Antenna Lab#2

This document describes a lab experiment in antenna theory and radio wave propagation. It involves: 1. Creating a geometry of a coaxial cable with wave port excitation in Ansoft HFSS. 2. Setting up radiation boundaries and far field radiation spheres to analyze the electromagnetic radiation properties. 3. Running simulations and frequency sweeps to calculate S-parameters and far field radiation patterns between 10-16 GHz. 4. Generating reports including S-parameter plots, 2D radiation patterns, and 3D polar plots of gain for the modeled coaxial cable and antenna structure.
