The National Conference on Futuristics in Mechanical
Engineering-2014 (FME-2014) is scheduled to be held
during March 08-09, 2014. Theprimary objectiveof this
conference is to bring together experts fromacademic
institutions, industries, research organizations and scholar
students to exchange and share their knowledge,
innovative ideas, research findings, expertise and
experiences related to advancement and futuristic trends
in mechanical engineering education and research. The
related technical papers are invited fromthe prospective
authors fromacademic institutions, industries, research
organizations and fromresearch scholars. Theconference
will feature discussions and presentations on recent
developments in thefield, theplenary lectures and regular
paper sessions by the eminent technical experts and the
participants.

ABOUT M.M.M.E.C., GORAKHPUR

MadanMohanMalaviya Engineering College, Gorakhpur
was founded by StateGovernment in1962 inthememory
of the great scholar and patriot Pandit Madan Mohan
Malaviya. It is a premier technological instituteof Eastern
UP and has significantly contributed towards technical
manpower development, research and training. The
college(anautonomous college, confirred by UGC, New
Delhi) runs Graduateand Post Graduate level courses in
all emerging areas of Engineering and Management. The
college is going to become Madan Mohan Malaviya
University of Technology very soon. Theorganizationhas
faculty well exposed to the cutting edge technologies in
their respectiveareas.















TheDepartment of Mechanical Engineering, established
in the year 1962, is imparting quality education to the
students inthe field of Mechanical Engineering through
its Undergraduateprogramme. Thedepartment also runs
Post Graduate programmes in Computer Integrated
Manufacturing and Energy Technology and
Management. The alumni of the department are today
occupying highest positions in a large number of
Governments, semi-government and private
organizations in thecountry and abroad. Thelaboratories
of theDepartment, which are modernized fromtime to
time, are well equipped to cater to the research and
development. The Department is now equipped with
Flexible Manufacturing System procured under the
TEQIP-II scheme.

Extended abstracts on the related topics are invited by
e-mail. The abstract should be limited to two A4 size
pages including figures, tables and references. Theabstract
should beinMS word with singlespacing, 12 font sizes in
Times New Roman. The author should mention their
affiliation, address for communicationincluding phone/fax
numbers and e-mail address. After assessing the abstract,
authors will be requested to submit full paper as per the
conferenceformat after provisional acceptanceof abstract.



The aim of this conference is to provide an
interdisciplinary platform for engineers, researchers and
students to discuss and promote research results and
technology transfer in all the areas of mechanical
engineering. Industries, R&D establishments, academic
institutions are invited to participate inthe conference by
presenting papers and sending delegates.
