Dear Students:
Remember, Grades 7 and 8, to be creative with your Homebase videos. We are looking forward to having a successful MS
Film Festival this December.
Students are encouraged to continue bringing ring pulls to Ms. Pavic and Homebase. The ring pulls will be donated to PCF
where they will be made into bags and purses. You will receive one point for each ring pull that you bring in and the points
will count towards Sports Day.
Your teachers will update PowerSchool on Friday, November 27. Check your grades to track progress and talk with your
teachers if you have any concerns. The last few weeks of the semester are bound to be busy. Please make sure to stay on
top of your classes, study for tests, and meet deadlines for final projects. There are also a lot of fun events coming up—
Spirit Week, the MS Party and Sports Day. Be sure to listen to the daily announcements, read the bulletin and stay informed.
There is no school this Friday, November 27 and Monday, November 30 in observance of Eid’l Adha and Bonifacio Day…
Enjoy the long weekend!
Looking ahead… the thought provoking film The Age of Stupid will be shown to Grade 7 and Grade 8 students in the FAT
on December 1 during last period. The film focuses on climate change and encourages student empowerment, instilling
hope for the future. There is a strong message that we really do have a chance to make a difference, and we have to start
now. There will be a second showing at 3:00 P.M. on December 1 for High School students, Faculty and any interested
members of the ISM community.
On Thursday, December 3 from 7:45—9:00 A.M. the Middle School is hosting a Parent Coffee in the LT. The discussion,
which will be facilitated by the Guidance Counselors, will focus on students developing positive relationships and empowering
students. Please invite your parents to attend the Parent Coffee.
