Inspiration for forest scene props
We want the title of Pinned to the Trees to be hand written and stuck to a tree much like the notes are from a horror game called Slenderman, where you are chased by a tall suited man in a forest similar to where we plan to shoot our opening. The title will look speedily done and amateurishly written to look as if it was drawn by one of the films characters.
Also, another prop that we might want to include in the beginning of the opening are flowers as seen in David Lynchs Blue Velvet. I think it would be interesting if we used a similar analogy in Pinned to the Trees in that we initially show the beauty and tranquility of the environment and then suddenly juxtapose it with an edgy and suspenseful chase sequence.

Inspiration for psychiatrist scene props
Mad Men
Dr. Melfis Office, The Sopranos
Above are some examples of the set and props of a private psychiatrists office from a media perspective. They hugely differ from the standard NHS offices as they are aimed towards richer clientele. Although, I would prefer to film our psychiatrist scene in a set similar to Dr. Melfis office in The Sopranos, I expect due to a lack of budget we will film in a room similar to the picture on the left.
Here is an example of a real state funded psychiatrist office. In comparison to the private, expensive offices (as seen above) it still has slightly similar props and furniture such as two chairs, a desk, a lamp, pictures, books on psychiatry, framed picture, university degree, files and papers.
Explanation of the props:
The majority of the props are supposed to be conventional psychiatrist office dcor such as the sofa, coffee table, lamp, books, greenery, framed university degree and figurines/ sculptures. This is because we want our audience to automatically know that the actors are in a psychiatrists office and therefore they can focus on why the actors are there. However, we purposely emphasized the amount of greenery and natural materials as a hidden motif throughout the opening and film, also as a subtle foreboding clue for the audience and Adam as to why the opening and ending both show him in the forest. Moreover, It may also allow for a match shot in the opening. Furthermore, the more expensive and upscale the props of the psychiatrists office appear, the more out of place and disheveled Adam will look, creating a contrast and therefore making Adam seem like a threatening and unstable character.
Explanation of the props: The 5 step plan written out has possibility of featuring, along with other hints, which would only become clear later on in the film, to allude to her heinous intensions. Id also like to feature books, files or posters on other medical serial killers or the pills that Sam will take throughout the film.
