APRIL 2014

Recital Ticket Day


Tickets for this year's recital will go on sale at the studio Saturday, May 10 from 12-2 p.m. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis, and buyers will choose their seats in the theater at this time. As in past years, your account MUST BE up-todate before you can purchase tickets. If you have questions about your account, please ask at the front desk. After Ticket Day, tickets will be sold during normal studio hours until the end of the year. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door the day of recital.

Valley of Flowers Parade


The studio will once again participate in Florissant's Valley of Flowers Parade on Sunday, May 4 beginning at 1:00 pm. Students ages 6 and older are invited to march and will learn a pom routine during their ballet classes. Students in the 5:30, 6:00, and 6:30 baton classes will learn a baton routine. All students are required to buy a $12 studio T-shirt, to be worn during the parade. The parade route is a little more than 2 miles. Please keep this in consideration when deciding if your dancer is ready to march in this year's parade. A mandatory practice for parade will be held Saturday, April 19 at the studio from 10-11 am. Permission slips and T-shirt payments are due to the front desk by Thursday, April 17.

Picture Week
Individual and group photos of your dancer and his or her classes will be taken May 19-22 during your dancer's regular class times. Order forms will be available the night your child comes for pictures. Costumes will be distributed the week before Picture Week. Regular class instruction will not take place during Picture Week. We ask that a parent of young dancers be present to assist their child with dressing. Additional information on Picture Week will be distributed next month.

Upcoming Performances
Several of our dancers will participate in National Dance Week April 26 at St. Louis Union Station, Applause Talent Competition April 25-27 at Kirkwood High School, and Spotlight Dance Cup Competition May 16-18 at Logan Chiropractic College. Come out and help cheer on our dancers!

Tuition Payments
Tuition is due by the 15th of every month. Any payments received after this date are subject to late fees.

Water Bottle Reminder


As the weather begins to warm up, please remember to send your child to class with a water bottle.
