What is a noun?
Nouns are used as the subject of every sentence. NOUN + IS + NOUN England is a country. (England = noun / country = noun)

London is a city. (London = noun / city = noun)

What does Singular mean?


Singular means one only, not two, three, four or more

England = a singular noun / London = a singular noun Country = a singular noun / City is = a singular verb A cat is an animal.
