FORMAT FOR SEMINAR REPORT (MCA Vth Semester) Seminar Report Each student is required to write a comprehensive report

about the seminar. The report should consist of 15 to 20 pages describing the topic selected. The report should be in the format as described below. t is important that !ou adhere to these guidelines. 1. ARRANGEMENT OF CONTENTS:

PAGE DIMENSION AND BINDING SPECIFICATIONS:

The dimension of the seminar report should be in &' si,e. The Seminar report should be hard bound using fle-ible cover of the thic( art paper. Two copies of the report ./0E hard cop! and one Soft cop!1 should be submitted. 3. PREPARATION FORMAT" Seminar report are given in

The page numbers of which are in lower case Roman letters. /ne and a half spacing should be adopted for t!ping the matter under this head. & specimen cop! of the Table of #ontents of the Seminar report is given in &ppendi- 2. 2.' #hapters 3 The chapters ma! be broadl! divided into 2 parts .i1 ntroductor! chapter i.e. developing the main theme of the topic .ii1 6iterature review of the topic selected .iii1 and Summar! or #onclusions The main te-t will be divided into several chapters and each chapter ma! be further divided into several divisions and sub7divisions. 8 8 Each chapter should be given an appropriate title. Tables and figures in a chapter should be placed in the immediate vicinit! the reference where the! are cited.

2.5 &ppendices 3 &ppendices are provided to give supplementar! information4 which is included in the main te-t ma! serve as a distraction and cloud the central theme. 9 &ppendices should be numbered using &rabic numerals4 e.g. &ppendi- 14 &ppendi- 24 etc.

9 &ppendices4 Tables and References appearing in appendices should be numbered and referred to at appropriate places :ust as in the case of chapters. 9 &ppendices shall carr! the title of the wor( reported and the same title shall be made in the contents page also.
