Communication: University Presentations, training as a lifeguard. I like meeting new people and
companies, talking to them and learning the best way to make a good
impression, can speak good French and am keen to learn new languages.

Interpersonal: Working as a team in a lifeguarding course. Part of a small group called the

Industrial Experience:

May 2003: Worked in Engine factory to see how engines are made, this was for a
week’s experience. Was given a tour of the factory and discovered how
engines are built, tested, maintained, researched and developed by the
company.

August 2007: Organized a tour of a wind farm on, with My Local Generators. I was
toured around one of the turbines to see the generator and working
components and also saw the control centre in the main town

Job Description:

Dock Hand: Working in proximity of extremely heavy plant and machinery,


ensuring safety was essential.
Night porter: Ensuring hotel safety, checking in guests, cleaning and tidying,
end of day banking.
Fish Factory Worker: Working in an industrial, had to be alert of heavy plant, hygiene
was of importance, cleaning and tidying, Ensuring safety.
Supermarket Attendant: Stocking shelves, working with the customers, building displays
and display items, helping staff members, tidying stockrooms.

Interests
Travelling: Well travelled (Cape Town, Sydney, Queenstown, Christchurch Towa-Cho,
Uganda and Tanzania), Spent much time in America as I have family there. I can
speak basic French.

Sport: Gymnastics, Karate, Kayaking, Power Kiting, Bouldering, Running, Cycling, and
Rambling (Three Peaks Challenge: 22 hrs 15 mins)

Other: Wide interest in food, music and other cultures, computing and films.
