2-4. Connections
Connectlon to your statlon must be accomp|lsbed ln tbe order descrlbed be|ow, be|ore you app|y
malns vo|tage to tbe amp|l|ler.

Note that the grounding system may have to withstand currents over 10A
with insignificant vo|tage drop on it. Therefore, it may be necessary to
improve it considerab|y, i.e. to become |ess resistive, with heavier |eads and
|ower-resistive ground path. The grounding |eads shou|d be at |east 4mm
{AWG 11 or 5WG 13).

b) Connect a coaxla| cab|e wltb a PL-259 p|ug |rom tbe transcelver output to tbe amp|l|ler rear pane|
PP |NPUT socket.

use PG213 or better. Cbeck tbe same |or tbe antenna se|ector and tuner as we|| as
tbe antenna ltse|| (especla||y mu|tl-band trap antennas).
c) Connect a coaxla| cab|e |rom tbe amp|l|ler output (on tbe rear pane|, marked PP OUTPUT) wltb a
PL-259 p|ug to tbe antenna se|ector or tuner or to tbe antenna |or tbe respectlve band.
d) Pun a cab|e termlnated ln a Pbono (PCA) connector |rom tbe transcelver socket provldlng ground
on transmlt" to tbe amp|l|ler rear pane| KLY-|N socket.

transcelver. |t cou|d be used to lmprove tbe transmlt/recelve swltcblng sa|ety.

wltb a cab|e termlnated ln a Pbono (PCA) connector to tbe KLY-OUT socket o| tbe amp|l|ler. Transcelver

lf your amp|ifier is on|y fitted with one mains fuse, it is suitab|e for 0-220...240
VAC e|ectricity supp|ies ONLY {these supp|ies are standard in the uropean
Community). Your dea|er wi|| check that your amp|ifier is correct|y fused
before it is shipped to you. Customers shou|d check with a qua|ified
e|ectrician if the amp|ifier is to be used outside the country in which it was
purchased.

Before connecting the amp|ifier to your mains supp|y, be sure that the supp|y
is correct|y wired, and is adequate for the current drawn by the amp|ifier
{up to 10A). Make certain that the grounding |ead is connected proper|y in
the wa|| out|et for the amp|ifier.
