CECC Circuits and Electronics Classmates Contest

Last semester, a group of students (dantyrant, ChaunceyGardiner, Hobie, Juancho and Myrimit), held a competition for all students part of the Spring 2012 6.002x offering with the aim to motivate the future students of 6.002x. That is, to show it is possible to put the theory into practice. The winners of this contest in the 6.002x Spring 2012 offering were: 1st place, komisz; 2nd. place, ruudoleo and 3rd. place, Danik. The corresponding videos can be watched at the Wiki of the Fall 6.002x. All the members of the CECC Team are very grateful for the support given by the staff of EDX (Lauren, Kimberly, Lyla, Peter, ...) to carry out this student initiative. We emphasize the encouragement given to us by Piotr Mitros, for helping us and supporting our idea; and we acknowledge our deep gratitude to Professor Agarwal who generously donated three autographed Textbooks that were given as prizes to the three winners of the past contest. Therefore, we would like that this initiative be a source of inspiration - motivating the involvement and integration, and it be taken up in the future by students of the 6.002x Fall 2012, who at this time are welcome to participate in the CECC 2. Because our desire is to let other students participate in this incredible initiative, this will be the last CECC organized by us and we leave the door open to any student who wishes to carry out this Circuits and Electronics Classmates 6.002x Contest in Spring 2013. It is very important that this initiative, for motivating the future students from the present students, is not lost. So we ask those who feel inspired, to take the initiative to conduct this contest voluntarily and they will see how rewarding it is to know how much you can contribute as a student at this amazing experience of online education which is free and nonprofit :)
