Greetings from the Campus Ministry Office! For
our Spring Break Mission Trip, the UCC
will be headed to Appalachia in SE Kentucky,
along with Hand in Hand Ministries, a partner
we have worked with many times before. Learn
more about them at myhandinhand.org.

We will be working with Hand in Hand to help residents of one of
the poorest counties in America with a food bank, clothing and
household needs, educational resources, and home repair. But
there will be time for recreation as well at a nearby park and a fun
cultural event, complete with Blue Grass music and dancing.

If you are interested in joining us on the Mission Trip, please attend
one of our informational meetings on Sunday, October 27th at
10:30 am (before 11:30 Mass) or at 7:00 pm (before 8:00 Mass).
You will then need to fill out an application online at
utcatholic.org, due Friday, November 1st at 5:00 pm.

With our black bag collection last Sunday at $601.90, were off to
a great start, but we still have a long way to go. If you would like to
sponsor a missionary or find out how to get more involved, please
contact me for more information at [email protected]!

God bless you & Hook em Horns!

this film about the founder of the Paulist Fathers tells a story that is
both uniquely Catholic and uniquely American, from his beginnings
in lower Manhattan to his later encounters with Emerson and Tho-
reau. Come and learn more about Isaac Hecker, the Paulists, and
the Paulist Associates, and discuss the film and the role of the Pau-
lists in American Catholic history. For more information, contact
