BWP 13/14 MANIFESTO

NAZLEEN DIANA BINTI ISMAIL 401 LAWRENCIUM

First and foremost, I would like to introduce myself. I am Nazleen Diana binti Ismail of 401 Lawrencium. I am running to be a member of the Student Representative council, and I truly believe that everyone should have the same opportunities in life and to be treated equally. I believe that I will be the right person to represent all of you as the Welfare EXCO or in other words, EXCO Kebajikan. As we all know, a BWPs main objective is to help the students reach the nations goal. It is also the base of developing leaders that will lead our country Malaysia in the near future. I believe that I would be the right person to represent all of you as the EXCO Kebajikan. I would like to take a few initiatives and I shall make sure the work will be done in due time. I also do believe that actions speak louder than words. One of my main objectives is to create a mentor-mentee system where at the start of a next year, new students, to be precise Form 1 students, will get Form 4 and Form 5 mentors that will adapt them to this MARA Junior Science College. As we all know, most batches tend to stick to their own batch, Im not saying this isnt good, but there should be a bond between other batches too. With the mentor-mentee system, we are able to avoid problems between batches as well as help new students adapt to this college. I would also like to promote transparency. What I meant by transparency is that students are able to speak freely with seniors and juniors, with good communication between batches, we are able to unite and join forces to bring the good name of this MARA Junior Science College to all around the nation. Apart from establishing a mentor-mentee system, I would like to suggest that we install a wall fan near the whiteboard of each class. Based on my observation, a lot of teachers and students complained that it is excruciatingly hot when they stand or sit near the whiteboard. With the instalment of a fan, not only that the teacher can teach comfortably, students who have to present a presentation are able to present comfortably. Thus, the students will be able to learn in a more conducive environment. Therefore, choose your leaders well. I have a vision for a change, a change for a good cause, a change that need to bring about, that would help you and all our student union. A good friend of mine once said, A leader can lead efficiently, but what is there to lead if there

isnt a mission? From that I can say that I have a vision, and a mission, it is up to you to choose who can make a difference in this MARA Junior Science College.
