Rather, when you hold a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind;
blessed indeed will you be because of their inability to repay you.
For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.Luke 13:30

The ministry of the University Catholic Center is made possible in part by
support from our generous benefactors. If you wish to contribute the mission

ment, Elizabeth Lange, or visit www.utcatholic.org/support. Thank you!
In todays Gospel, Jesus reminds us to be humble
and seek the lowest place lest we be embarrassed
when shown to a lower place. Pope Francis has made headlines
with his teachings and displays of humility. Think of one example
given by Pope Francis that you can emulate.

FR. ISAAC HECKER QUOTE
A new religious order is the expression or
evidence of an uncommon or special grace
given to a certain number of souls in order to
sanctify themselves by the practice of certain
virtues to meet the special needs of their epoch
and in this way to renew the life of the
members of the Church and extend her
fold. (Stray Thoughts, 1876-1886)
