COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS
COURSE OVERVIEW Effective Communication enables you to express your views clearly and constructively and establish the needs of others. By being an effective communicator you have greater control over your voice, tone and language, which you can alter depending on the situation. This course provides an introduction to communication techniques and skills. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in practical exercises aimed at testing a number of different techniques and building on their skills.

METHODOLOGY The course takes a blended learning approach and the training methods reflect all four learning styles: Reflector, Pragmatist, Theorist and Activist. A combination of quizzes, presentations, case study, individual and group-work, facilitation, and discussions is used to embed learning. Throughout the course, participants are given the opportunity to take part in practical exercises
ASSESSMENT Participants were evaluated using a system of continuous assessment, based tasks assigned during and at the end of the course. MATERIALS The participants are provided a course manual containing copies of presentation slides, exercises, and suggested solutions. Other training aids include: PowerPoint presentations, Video and flip charts
LOCATION AND FACILITIES The training will take place at the premises of our client. The client will need to provide suitable training rooms, equipped with a projector and screen, whiteboard or a flipchart. The trainer will provide advice on seating arrangements. FACILITATOR The course will be delivered by an experienced facilitator who is specialised in the development and training delivery of Time Management courses, and is skilled at promoting adult learning.
