About the School: The School of Electrical Engineering (SELECT) at VIT University was established for imparting a state-of the- art education, training and research in the field of EEE and allied areas. It offers B.Tech., M.Tech., and Ph.D. Programme in the domain of EEE. The expertise of the faculty members includes Power Electronics and Dives, Power Systems, Control and Automation and all frontier areas. Laboratory Futures: Facilities are available with well established and advanced Power Electronics Laboratory for bachelor, master students and Ph.D. research candidates to carry out the experimental task in a conducive atmosphere. Advanced and State-of-Art research based completely computerized-software monitored Electrical Drives and Control Laboratory was established at VIT University, Chennai-Campus.

Program Schedule: SESSION -1: Duration (2 Hours). Introduction to Electrical Drives and Control by Professor from Universities. SESSION -2: Duration (1 Hours). Introduction to real time digital controllers dedicated to Electrical Drives and Control (dspic30f4011 & FPGA) by Professor from Universities and also from Academic Research Industry. SESSION -3: Duration (2 Hours). Hands on experience and developments at Power Electronics Laboratory, VIT University, Chennai-Campus.
