3) Divide troop into groups of 4-6 give each
group a marker, tape, and about 20 pieces of
paper. The top piece should have MUFFIN IS
READY written on it.
5) BUT they are hungry for a muffin with butter
& jam. A commercial is coming and they have
only the time of the 3 min. commercial to toast,
butter, and jam the muffin and get
back to the show!
7) Then
have them put them in the right order :
Toast
Butter Jam Oops!
Muffin Muffin Muffin
And NEXT:
Slices Toast Butter Jam

REMEMBER - give them
instructions 6,7,& 8 after 5. Make sure
everybody understands what is
supposed to happen before you give
the signal.
1) When to use:
after a group has
decided the place
or the event and
before planning
2) Check List of Needs
scratch paper __
markers/crayons __
masking tape __
4) Tell the troop (each group) that they should
imagine they
are watching their very
favorite t.v. program
and it is really exciting
6) Now when you give the signal, have each
group
Get up
a) write down each step
Get jam
b) each on a separate piece of paper)
to get the muffin ready.
8) d) tape them in order, on wall
e) the last sheet should beMUFFIN IS READY!
f) have them shout MUFFIN IS READY
when they are done!
10) When each group is done have the whole
troop look at each groups MUFFIN.
Discuss:
a) what steps are missing?
b) are any out of order?
GO!
11) Gather the troop in a circle.
Repeat the game together
only use Our trip happens
instead of MUFFIN IS READY
12) Turn this page over. You may now want
to use event/trip sheets or have the girls design
one.
a) Have them call out the stepsyou write them
down. Discuss if any are missing.
You and your girls have planned a trip or
event!
CONGRATULATIONS!!
b) Have them suggest the order in which they
must happen. You tape them up.
c) Now look at what must happen, in order,
before you can have a trip or event!
HAVE FUN!!
d) Who will be in charge of which step? Are
they in the right order?
