Download Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 update 4
Download Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 update 2 from edelivery.oracle.com < http://edelivery.oracle.com/linux > Register yourself and select Enterprise Linux x86 with 64 bit
Download 4 zip files
Unzip Disk the disk using winrar on windows machine
Download Oracle Database

Steps to Download WinSCP
Go to Following Link to Download WinSCP http://winscp.net/eng/download.php Download Winscp as shown below
Steps for copying software from windows machine to linux machine: Save the WINSCP file in your computer. Once it is done do the installation. Click on the WINSCP icon on the desktop and you will see a window as shown below
Enter the IP Address in the Hostname
User name: root Password:
Drag and drop the software and copy it into LINUX as shown below On the left hand side enter the drive where the software is located On the right hand side click
And now click on the login page
Then a window will be appeared as shown in the figure. Give the username password over here and click on OK and then
Then a window will be appeared as shown in the figure.
Here at the top on the right hand side next to the d01 there is a folder icon. Click on it to the give the final destination for the software location and click OK
On the right hand side here from the Drive F location I dragged the software and a popup will be appeared as shown in the figure
Click on Copy at the bottom
Now drag the software from host operating system (Windows) to guest operating system LINUX
Here all the files are copied as shown in the figure to d01 location. /d01/ software Check whether all the files are copied to the destination location as shown in the figure
Install VMWare server on your windows machine
If VMWare Server is already running on your machine then skip this step and go to next step
(Installation of VMware is simple and similar to any other software installation on windows machine)
1. Open directory vmware and double click on VMware-server-XXXXXXX.exe
2. Click on Run

4 Create virtual machine
4.1 Login to VMware Console
Start VMware Server Console by

When prompted for username/password, enter your windows administrator username and password (administrator/<password of your windows>)
Here administrator is user on local machine with admin privileges (You can use other user (with Administrator access) as well)

11g Database Installation:
Unpack Files
Add the following line to the /etc/pam.d/login file, if it does not already exist: unzip win64_11gR2_database_1of2.zip Unzip the files: unzip win64_11gR2_database_2of2.zip You should now have a single directory containing installation files. Depending on the age of the download this may either be named "db/Disk1" or "database".
Hosts File
The /etc/hosts file must contain a fully qualified name for the server: <IP-address> <fully-qualified-machine-name> <machine-name>
Set Kernel Parameters
Add the following lines to the /etc/sysctl.conf file: #kernel.shmall = 2097152 #kernel.shmmax = 2147483648 kernel.shmmni = 4096 # semaphores: semmsl, semmns, semopm, semmni kernel.sem = 250 32000 100 128 #fs.file-max = 65536 net.ipv4.ip_local_port_range = 1024 65000 net.core.rmem_default=262144 net.core.rmem_max=262144 net.core.wmem_default=262144 net.core.wmem_max=262144
Run the following command to change the current kernel parameters: /sbin/sysctl -p
Add the following lines to the /etc/security/limits.conf file: * * * * soft nproc 2047 hard nproc 16384 soft nofile 1024 hard nofile 65536

Add the following line to the /etc/pam.d/login file, if it does not already exist:
session required
pam_limits.so
Disable secure linux by editing the /etc/selinux/config file, making sure the SELINUX flag is set as follows: SELINUX=disabled Alternatively, this alteration can be done using the GUI tool (System > Administration > Security Level and Firewall). Click on the SELinux tab and disable the feature.
Setup

Installation
Log into the oracle user. If you are using X emulation then set the DISPLAY environmental variable: DISPLAY=<machine-name>:0.0; export DISPLAY Start the Oracle Universal Installer (OUI) by issuing the following command in the database directory:

Download weblogic software form below link :

In Linux Desktop,You can find the weblogic installer-Server103_linux32.bin

Open a Terminal in Linux and go to Installer Location

First time if u copy the weblogic installer and invoke the installer by ./server103_linux32.bin, it shows Permission denied(it looksup for file persmission)
