1. Image Processing - Processing quickly and easily - Remember four key photo needs o Blacks, whites o Midtones o Color o Emphasis/Balance - Set up interface for your needs - Check out Solo Mode - History is very different 2. Basic workflow a. Blacks and Whites start with Basic - Blacks in Blacks - Use Alt/Option key to see threshold screen - Fill - Whites in Exposure (watch histogram, too) - Recovery - Clarity - Vibrance vs. Saturation b. Midtones - Midtones strongly affect the life and color of an image - Tone curve offers great control - Sliders for regions Parametric Curve - Click and adjust on the photo c. Overall Color Correction - Eyedropper in Basic for color correction - White balance settings d. Correcting Color - HSL: Hue, Saturation, Luminance - Cameras do not record colors equally - Hue to change the color of a color - Saturation the intensity - Luminance the brightness (and it works!) - Click and adjust on the photo

Gradient or Brush can be set for single or multiple changes Variables for each brush change o Size (also bracket keys) o Feather o Flow o Two brushes o Alt key to remove change by brushing As long as point is open, you can readjust your change Click on finished point to re-adjust change Hover over point to see where change is Click new area for new change Use Delete to remove active point

6. Black-and-White - In color area - Click and adjust tonalities directly on photo (based on underlying color) - Recheck blacks, whites, midtones

Exporting Images
