Routine Vertical Pile Load Test Report: Piling Work For Express Court in Jaypee Greens

A routine vertical load test was conducted on a 750mm diameter pile (T5-183) at Jaypee Greens, Noida. The test involved applying an increasing load until reaching 406.43 metric tons, which caused a total pile head displacement of 8.02mm. After unloading, the permanent pile head displacement was 2.307mm. The test results indicate the pile can safely support its designed vertical load of 270 metric tons.

Routine vertical load has been conducted on 750mm dia T5-183 pile at JP Greens , Noida on 0304/04/2012 Results indicate total Pile head displacement of 8.02 mm at the application of final test load of406.43 MT. After releasing of test load permanent pile head displacement of 2.307 mm was observed.

Safe Lateral Load Capacity calculations: 1) As per IS : 2911 (Part 4) -1985, Clause 6.1.5(a) Load at which total displacement is 12mm Safe load is 2/3 of load corresponding to 12mm

2) As per IS : 2911 (Part 4) -1985, Clause 6.1.5(b) Load at which displacement is 10% of pile diameter that is 75 mm Safe load is 50 % of load corresponding to 75 mm

- Not Observed = -MT

As both the above criteria remain unobserved, pile shall be considered safe to carry safe designed vertical load. The safe designed vertical load carrying capacity of pile is 270.00 MT.
