BREEDING CONTRACT This certifies to (Stallion) the following mare: Mare Name Breed Year Foaled Sire Mare care fee of $7/day J bar K Horse Ranch, agent for the above named stallion, is herin referred to as breeder. The breeding season shall begin April 1st and close September 1st of the year dated on the contract. These dates can be flexible as needed. 1) A completed breeding contract with a photocopy of both sides of the mare's registration papers must be on file. 2) Booking Fee of $150 upon execution of this contract. Remaining balance of Stallion fee ($450) is due upon delivery of mare. 3) Live Foal Guarantee: Live foal is defined as a foal that stands and nurses without assistance. It is understood that if the mare proves barren, aborts her foal, or if foal is stillborn, a return season will be guaranteed the following year only, provided a written notification from a licensed veterinarian is delivered within seven (7) days of producing a non-viable foal. 4) Mare Owner shall not be entitled to a refund of fees. Return in season the following year only. The breeding fee will be waived except for the mare care fees. 5) A Breeders Certificate will be issued to the Mare Owner after all expenses have been paid in full and upon notification of birth of foal. 6) Waiver of Liability: It is understood that the breeding farm, its owners, employees, shall not be liable for any injury, escape disability, or death of any horse on its premise. 7) This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between parties; any amendment to or modifications must be made in writing. Should it be necessary for breeder to employ an attorney to enforce any terms of this agreement, including collection of money owed, Mare Owner shall pay all reasonable attorneys fees, costs and other expenses related to enforcing this agreement. ____________________________________ Stallion Owner/J bar K Ranch Checklist: $150 deposit or $600 Stallion fee Mare Registration Papers Signed contract herein referred to as Mare Owner, has engaged one service , (Live cover) for the 2012 season at $600 in US funds, for , Reg.
