The cost is $115 and will include transportation and a ticket to the Christmas Spectacular show at 4:30 p.m. Participants will have several hours on their own for sight-seeing, lunch or shopping. Golf lessons begin Wednesday CHESHIRE - A third and final series of golf lessons will be given through the Cheshire Senior Center in conjunction with J-D's Driving Range. The six-week course will take place from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on Wednesdays beginning this Wednesday through Nov. 13. Golf pro David Giacondino will teach basic strokes and good technique to a limited number of students. A fee will be charged and registration is required. Energy forum on Monday CHESHIRE - A tri-town energy forum for Wallingford, Cheshire and Hamden will take place at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Hamden High School, 2040 Dixwell Ave. A discussion is planned on the proposed new 345,000-volt power lines which would cross Wallingford and 22 other towns in Connecticut. Attorney General Richard Blumenthal and representatives from Northeast Utilities, Woodlands Coalition and the legislature will speak followed by a question period open to the public.
