In order to make a good impression during a good job interview, you need to prepare yourself for the interview.

You must arrive in plenty of time for the interview so that you give yourself a little time to relax before the interview begins. You have to look your best for the interview. The impression you make as you walk into the room is very important. Try to find out if the company or organization has any rules about dress. Then try to dress according to their regulations. If they do not allow their staff to come to work in casual clothes, you may ruin your chances for a job by wearing the wrong kind of clothes to the interview. You also need to plan what you are going to say. In some interview, you will have to do a lot of talking, and others you will only have to answer a few questions about your education and experience. You need to have answers ready about yourself, your schoolwork, your strong points, and your reason for applying for the job, and the salary you expect. You will also allow asking some questions of your own. The questions you ask will show the interviewer that you have given careful thought to the position. You can ask questions like these. What duties will I have in the job? Will I be allowed to join a health insurance program? Does the company provide opportunities for the further education? You must also try to find out as much as you can about the company you want to work for. You can get information about the company by talking to someone who works there or by asking for copies of the companys booklets, brochures or advertising.

Why Do Men Have Different Skin Colors? People with the whitest skin colors can be found in the north part of European continent. Those people are called the Nordic. People with the blackest skin colors can be found in the west part of Africa. People of South East Asia have yellowish brown skin color. However, most of human being are not white, black, or yellow. They represent hundreds of shadow colors. Starting from those who have bright skin colors those who have dark brown or blackish skin colors. What causes all the differences is human skin colors? The explanation is on the series of chemical processes, which take place in human body and their skin. In the skin layer, there is a basic color substance, which is called chromogenic. The substance basically is colorless.

However , if a certain ferment or enzyme affect the basic color substance, a certain skin color will be formed. However, if man does not have the basic color substance or his/her enzyme does not work properly to the substance, he/she will become an albino. It is because he/she does not have any pigment. This can happen to anyone on the earth surface. In Africa, as an example, there is an albino who is whiter than a white-skinned European man. Human skin itself, without the existence of the basic color substance, is ivory white. But then, there is an added color, yellow, in the skin. This color is caused by the existence of the yellow pigment in the skin. Other variety of skin colors also exist in black color skin. It is due to the existence of the subtle granules from the substance called melanin. Melanin has a similar color with a squid. Yet, because of the great pile of the substance, to our vision our skin looks black. Another color shadow can be added to the skin by the red color of the blood circulates all around the body under the network of skin layer. So, human skin color depends on the amount of the four basic substances, i.e. white, yellow, black, and red. Those colors group and form a certain color impression. All human skin colors from different nations can be formed from a combination of all different basic color which all men have. Sun rays have an ability to create melanin-the black pigment on our skin. That is why people who live in tropical area have more pigment of this kind and have darker skin colors than those who live in other area. However, if a white-skinned man exposes him/herself to the sun for several days, his/her skin will look dark brown. It is because the ultraviolet ray of the sun creates more melanin in his skin.

Waves are beautiful to look at, but they can destroy ships at sea, as well as houses and buildings near the shore. What causes waves? Most waves are causes by winds blowing over the surface of the water. The sun heats the earth, causing the air to rise and the winds to blow. The winds blow across the sea, pushing little waves into bigger and bigger ones. The sizes of a wave depends on how strong the wind is, how long it blows, and how large the body of water is. In a small bay big wave will never build up. But at sea the wind can build up giant, powerful waves. A rule says that the height of a wave (in meters) will usually be no more than one-tenth of the winds speed (in kilometers). In other words, when the wind is blowing at 120 kilometers per

hour, most waves will be about twelve meters. Of course, some waves may combine to form giant waves that are much higher. In 1993 the United States Navy reported the largest measured wave history. It rose in the Pacific Ocean to the height of thirty-four meters.

Honey is sweet, thick sugary solution made by bees. The composition of honey consists of varying proportions of fructose, glucose, water, oil and special enzymes produced by bees. (glucose and fructose are types of sugar). The first step in making honey begins when field bees fly from flower to flower collecting the sweet juices or nectar that a flower provides. With their tongues, the field bees suck out the nectar and store it in sacs within their body. After filling their sacs with these sweet juices, the field bees fly back to their bee hive and regurgitate the stored nectar into the mouths of house bees. These house bees are assigned the job of adding enzymes from their bodies to the nectar. The enzymes cause the water in the nectar to evaporate thereby turning the nectar into honey. Lastly, the nectar is stored an a cell of a honeycomb. Overtime, the nectar ripens an becomes honey.

Sound Recordings and Reproduction

Sound recordings and reproduction are two separate processes used to record, store, and play back sounds. Sound recording use microphones to pick up sound waves in the air. The pressure changes associated with the wives are converted into electrical signals, which can be coded and stored for the future access. Sound reproduction, or playback. Uses additional devices to retrieve the stored information and convert it back into electrical signals. The signals are then sent to a loudspeaker, which converts them back into sound. To record sound, a microphone changes the acoustic energy of sound waves in the air into electrical signals. Inside a microphone is a thin, flat, metallic surface, called diaphragm, which is suspended in a magnetic field. When a sound wave reaches the microphone., the air pressure changes around the diaphragm making the diaphragm move. This movement within a

magnetic field creates an electrical signals. The signal is then transferred to a storage medium, such as a cassette tape, a compact disc (CD), or a phonograph record. To reproduce sound, a playing device-such as a CD player, cassette deck, or phonograph accesses the electrical signal is sent to a loudspeaker, which has a diaphragm housed in a magnetic field in much the same way as a microphones diaphragm is housed. The electrical signal creates a disturbance in the magnetic field. These resultant variations in the magnetic field cause the diaphragm to move. As the diaphragm moves, it pushes out and pulls in, creating changes in air pressure to recreate the sound that was originally recorded. Sound recordings and reproduction from the foundation of many industries, including entertainment, communications, and multimedia businesses. Recording and reproduction of sound allow people to play their favorite music, whether it was recorded yesterday or many years ago. Radio networks rely on sound recording and reproduction for storing news and other types of programming. Television and motion pictures combine images with music, speech, and sound effects to provide the viewer with an enriched experience. Computer programs, multimedia software, and video games also use sound to make programs more engaging.

Do Women Deserve Higher Education?

The issue we are discussing is whether women need higher education or not. Some people think that there is no use for women to get higher education, for womens main role is in their households and surrounding. Thus, knowing about practical household management is sufficient for women to lead their lives. In addition, higher education does not ensure women to get better life, so why bother about it? there are many examples of women who are successful in their lives although they only enjoy average education. They success in managing their household, educating their children and participating in community activities. On the other hand, some other people believe that women also have the right to get higher education. They claim that education is important for anyone including women, because it is one way improve the quality of life. Therefore, every women must get education as high as she can achieve.

A further point they make is that higher education is not just the matter of achieving a better position in community or working environment. More importantly, it is the way to empower women and to give them better understanding of life and universe. In the other words, women have the same right to get higher education as men do. However, it also their right to take the chance or just to leave it.

Technique of Teaching The Silent Way is one of the effective language teaching techniques. It is pedagogical approach to language teaching based on the premise that the teacher should be as silent as possible in the classroom (about 90% of the time). The learner, then, are encouraged to produce as much language as possible. They have much have time both to be exposed to the language and to perform practice. The learning hypothesis behind the Silent Way is that learning is facilitated if the learners discover or create rather than remembers and repeats what is to be learned. Also, student learn more effectively through problem-solving involving activity in which the learner is a principal actor rather than a bench-bound listener. Basically, in learning teacher prepare their student to have problem solving skill. And the Silent Way can be described as a problem solving approach to language learning, and is summed up nicely in Benjamin Franklins word: Tell me and I forget, Teach me and I remember, Involve me and I learn. I conclude that the Silent Way in an appropriate language teaching technique.

The National Final Examination

Despite criticism over the National Final Examination policy, schools across the nation still plan to hold the examination this month. The National Final Examination itself has caused a great deal of controversy because it is used as a single criterion for students to graduate from school. As a prerequisite of graduation, students, must cram for math, economics, Bahasa Indonesia, and English. In addition, they must have scores above 4,25 for those subjects and

have average scores above 4,51 for all other subject. For some reasons, I personally think that National Final Examination must be ended. Firstly, the National Final Examination will only, encourage schools to give tasks, which develop students ability to answer typical examination questions. It will only benefit students who are good at exams rather than student who comprehend the subjects better. By doing this, it will not easy to meet the objective of learning, that is to develop students cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. Secondly, the Nation Final Examination gives an impression that a student will only be considered as a good students will only be test. Whereas, there are some other valid methods that can be used to evaluate students performance, such as portofolio, pir/group work activity, etc. it will be unfair if the students evaluation is only based on a centralized standard. As a matter of fact, it is teachers who actually have a great role to decide which students pass and which students are not because they know much better abaout the learning process of their students. Thirdly, I personally believe that the National Final Examination can only be used for evaluating the educating system and determine its weakness. The National Final Examination will notbe fair for the students n remote areas because hey do not hav the same evelof education quality as school in the city. The system of Nantional Final Examination in each region. From the fact above, it is obvious that the National Final Eamination is the wrong it for the National Education Systemte success of the students learning cannot be determined solely by one test callehe Naioal Final xamination. Therefore, the government should drop the National Final Examination.
