Mode of Semester Fee payment

Cash (Through ERP demand slip, in SBIs only) (a) Preferable mode of payment is to be by cash. Deposit receipts should be downloaded from ERP Deposited in the registration counter in IIT/SBI IIT Kharagpur. Deposited from anywhere in India with necessary bank charges.

Demand Draft
(a) DDs should be drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of IIT Kharagpur payable at Kharagpur, West Bengal. (b) DDs deposited in banks outside Kharagpur invites collection charges. The student has to pay intercity collection charges as applicable. The pay-in-slip will be accepted along with proof of payment of intercity charges.

Internet Banking
(a) Payment through Internet banking through IIT web site will be acceptable. (b) Payment through internet banking by bypassing IIT web site will not be accepted as the transaction slip cannot have students details and the transaction ID can not be stored in IIT server which cannot be verified. The individual pay-in-slips is to be downloaded from erp.iitkgp.ernet.in by logging in. The link is Academic Activities(UG) Generate fee- receipt. Please ensure that : Preferred DNS Server is 144.16.192.55 Proxy is by-passed for : erp.iitkgp.ernet.in In case of any difficulty, contact ERP helplines : 81017, 81018 & 81019
