Dear Hiring Manager, I learned of this job opportunity through your companys career search portal. I graduated with a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California (USC) with a focus on VLSI design. I have worked in industry environment for more than one year both as an intern and a full time employee. I have experience in ARM based systems. I worked in verification of LTE 3G, 4G hardware accelerator. I also designed, implemented and tested MIMO/SISO FDD based EVM system that is sold as a product by Mindspeed, my previous employer. By working on these projects I got an opportunity to test and explore the theoretical concepts taught in class against the practical divergences in actual implementations. I explored various possibilities in designing circuits and came to know of their implications. Likewise, I got to learn new facts, substantiate and explore the validity of existing ideas, concepts and test the limits of various designs through these projects. I would like to work in your company as it has been a pioneer in consistently developing and evolving new technologies and products.
