General GUIDELINES FOR SUMMER TRAINING

Dr. Arunesh Garg

Summer Training- General Guidelines

Students should be able to put into practice the knowledge gained during the entire

first year.

The summer training project demands that the student is proficient in report writing,

data analysis apart from functional skills.

The student must revise the basic and the fundamentals of the core subject. The

student may get in touch with the faculty mentor for any input required.

In most of the cases the topic for the Summer Training project is given by the

industry guide but in some cases he/she may ask for the topic from the student, in that case you should be mentally prepared and ready with some topics after consulting your faculty guide.

No two project reports with the same title will be accepted by the Institute.

The project title shall not be changed during the summer internship without

informing the Industry mentor and Faculty mentor.

It is an absolute must that the student is disciplined and well-behaved during

the entire period of the summer training.

How to Cite- Example

Marketing is the art of attracting and retaining customers. It is defined as a societal process by which individuals and groups obtain what they need and want through creating, offering, and freely exchanging products and services of value with others. From a managerial point of view, it has often been described as the art of selling (Kotler and Keller, 2005, p. 6). Marketing is not a function; it is a way of doing business. Marketing should not be left only to the marketing department. It has to be all pervasive and part of every individuals job description in the organisation (Drucker, 1954).
