Recital Ticket Day


Tickets for this year's recital will go on sale at the studio Saturday, April 14 from 12-2 p.m. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis, and buyers will choose their seats in the theater during this time. Ticket-buyers are allowed to line up outside the studio the morning tickets go on sale. As in past years, your account MUST BE up-todate before you can purchase tickets. After Ticket Day, tickets will be sold during normal studio hours until the end of the year. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door the day of recital.

Valley of Flowers Parade


The studio will once again participate in Florissant's annual Valley of Flowers Parade on Sunday, May 6. Students ages 6 and older are invited to march and will learn a poms routine during their ballet classes. Baton twirlers will learn a baton routine during their baton classes. All students are required to buy a $12 studio T-shirt, which will be worn during the parade. More information including times, locations, a T-shirt order form, and a permission slip will be handed out during your student's classes in March. The parade route is a little more than 2 miles. Please keep this in consideration when deciding if your dancer is ready to participate in this year's parade.

Reminder About Shoes


As recital approaches, we ask that parents make sure their dancers have the proper shoes. Students need black tap shoes, pink ballet shoes (or nude lyrical shoes) and black slip-on jazz shoes (if they take jazz). Note that even if your student does not have a ballet dance, he or she will still need ballet shoes for class. Pointe and prepointe students are required to have the correct shoes prior to performance so that they can practice in them. Please write your student's name in all of their shoes. Please see the front desk to order shoes or if you have any questions.

Watch Week
Our final Watch Week will be held March 5-8. As a courtesy to students and teachers, Watch Week is limited to adults only.

Competition Dates
This year, some of our students will participate in Starbound Dance Competition May 11-12 and Spotlight Dance Cup Competition May 18-20. All students and their families are welcome to attend these competitions and show their support for our dancers!

Tuition Payments
Tuition is due by the 15th of every month. Any payments received after this date will be subject to late fees.

Feb. 20: Presidents' Day (Classes WILL be held) March 5-8: Watch Week April 14: Ticket Day April 28: National Dance Week at Union Station May 6: Valley of Flowers Parade May 11-12: Starbound Dance Competition at the Scottish Rite Cathedral May 14-17: Picture Week May 18-20: Spotlight Dance Cup Competition at Logan Chiropractic College May 31: Last day of classes June 4-6: Rehearsal and recital at the Florissant Civic Center. Rehearsal will be held June 4.
