Evaluation and Illustration of the Methodology adopted for the PEC Accreditation of Electrical Engineering Program at School of Science

and Technology UMT Abstract:


The competent efficacious methods adopted in school of science and technology and the PEC accreditation of Electrical Engineering department at UMT has the very right to be drafted and delineated. The practices performed and methodologies followed to achieve this remarkable success must be explored and illustrated so that other schools and institutes may get benefit of it. The enlisted aspects and courses followed must be analyzed to achieve high standards in the quality of education irrespective of the field of studies. In this research work the PEC accreditation of electrical engineering department has been illustrated however this approach is effectively applicable for all the ranges of education. The approach adopted here consists of an integrated feedback based evaluation procedure that compares the program objectives with the desired outcomes. The difference in these two measures gives a reasonable estimation of the fallacy and the required improvements in the educational program. A self regulated systematic approach is designed based upon this estimation to make the program continuously improving towards the excellence. Practice of these logical methods will ensure high quality of education and it will ultimately lead towards standardization of the entire education system. .
