HOW TO STUDY

What you need to know!

TAKING NOTES
Write down what the teacher tells you.

YOUR NOTEBOOK
There are 3 steps to writing in your notebook.

STEP 1 BEFORE CLASS


Finish your homework Read your notebook from your last lesson.
Bring your books, notebooks, pens, pencils , and other supplies.

STEP 2 IN CLASS
Listen to your teacher.

Write quickly.

STEP 3 CHECK YOUR NOTES


Do you understand what you wrote in you notebook?

If you dont understand your notes ask your teacher.

YOUR STUDY PLACE

These are tips on what your study place should be.

You should be able to go to your study place anytime.

Your study place should not have anything to disturb you.

Your study place should have everything you need to study.

Make sure you have a big enough desk.

Make sure you have a comfortable chair.

10 STUDY HABITS
1. Try not to study too much at one time.

2. Pick a time to study.

3. Study at the same time everyday.

4. What do you want to learn when you study?

5. Start studying when to planned to.

6. Work on the difficult lessons first.

7. Read your notes and notebook before studying.

8. Dont let anything make trouble for you when you are studying.

9. Call a friend to help you study.

10. Read your books, notebooks, or school work over the weekend.

MORE THINGS TO HELP YOU STUDY

Clear your mind and relax.

Use earplugs so you can concentrate.

Make sure your room smells nice. This helps you to remember what you studied.

Take a break when your tired.

Have something to drink when you study.

Have something to snack on when you study.
