Restore & Recovery - Recover Datafile (ORA-00376)

The document describes database errors occurring in SAP transactions codes ST22 and SM21. The errors indicate that Oracle datafile 198, located at '/oracle/TCP/sapdata6/btabd_81/btabd.data81', cannot be read due to an I/O error. A temporary solution provided reconnects to the database as SYSDBA, takes the datafile offline, performs media recovery on it using necessary logs, and brings it back online once recovery is complete.
