SSD Vs HDD

Solid state drives (SSDs) have significant performance advantages over traditional hard disk drives (HDDs) for common computing tasks. The document presents several graphs comparing the time taken to perform operations like file reads/writes, anti-virus scans, and benchmark tests on systems using SSDs versus HDDs. The graphs show that SSDs complete most tasks around 2-3 times faster than HDDs on average. While SSDs offer much faster performance, HDDs still have an advantage in terms of storage capacity and cost per gigabyte compared to SSDs.
