Job Description:A Senior Java Developer contributes towards module(s) by bringing deep core technology expertise and relevant business subject matter expertise to the table. He/she will be an individual contributor who will be majorly involved in: Preparing the technical design of the technology components within the module. Aiding the Architect of the project for package implementation Providing innovative solutions to technical issues Interacting with the client.. Design, build, test and deploy new module components to integrate with rest of the modules through client interaction Planning , tracking and estimation of module implementation. Documenting the technical design using UML, suitable design patterns in the form of technical design narrative, object models, sequence diagrams, collaboration diagrams 5+ Years Java experience. Skills Required:J2EE{ primary areas JMS ,XML, JAXB, DataSources, Threads}, Weblogic, ICESFACES/JSF, SQLJ, Oracle/DB2 SQL, Spring, experience in a messaging environment, Agile experience Working experience with Oracle databases using JDBC. Good oral and written communications skills Strong knowledge of the Java language, class libraries and framework Strong oral and written communication skills including: ability to lead whiteboard sessions, create technical specifications, debate technical tradeoffs, and explain technical concepts to business users. Experience in a team development environment using standard processes, version control (SVN), release management methodology, unit testing strategies, integration testing strategies etc Work on multiple layers including Web Layer, backend business layer, Data access layer and integration layer.
